"Wellness Hours" are for "well" pets that just need vaccinations or other preventative care. As far as the visitation fees. Human doctors charge a office call fee every time you come in for a consultation, medication or diagnostics. Why should veterinarians be any different? That Banfield location would not give "sugar pills" nor would any other veterinarian in good standing technically or ethically. You always have a "choice" to take your pet to another facility for treatment and always have the "choice" to decline care. They offer the wellness plan and recommend certain dog foods, however it is up to you what you decide to feed your pet. The wellness plan benefits the client to give the best "preventative" care at a affordable price, and again you always have the right not to go on one. They offer the client what is best for treating their pet with a treatment plan that is presented to you at the time of the visit with the option to decline treatment. I am sure if you were this dissatisfied with their care that you would address it with the management of the facility to see if your complaint could be resolved in a more mature, positive manner. =0)

Echo the previous reviewer...they are the worst. Dont know how anyone would know enough to give a positive review because you arent allowed to be with your pet during the visit. We went there for an emergency visit, our dog ate something it shouldnt have, and the front desk gave us the number to poison control and told us to call it to figure out what to do. Isnt that what Im paying you for! We even have one of the pet medical plans. The vet eventually tried to make our dog throw up but failed and referred us to another vet. That vet figured out in minutes that what our dog ate was not enough to be toxic. Banfield then had the gall to bill us. For what, we asked? What about that medical plan, and you didnt help in any way? Well turns out that plan doesnt really cover anything. Totally incompetent. STAY AWAY!

The very WORST place to take your dog for vet services and boarding! Took my baby in for a dental, ear cleaning, nails clipped. he came home sickly, then diarrhea for 3 days! Dont know what the hell they did to his ears as they are filthy and infected and very painful if I touch them. Taking him to another vet now and going forward none of my animals will go near these place. Banfield pet insurance is nothing more than a scam as they keep adding in unnecessary crap. And dont get me started on how they lie to you about how well cared for they are in boarding. BULL! They are kenneled all but a few minutes a couple of times a day.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Banfield! We were given an unhealthy 3 mo old kitten a few months ago and because of all of his health problems we brought him here so he could get the best care at a reasonable cost. Dr Christi and the staff are very knowledgeable and wonderful to the animals. They helped us nurse our kitten back to health and after him having multiple surgeries, the stitching is nice and clean and its obvious Dr Christi and her staff knew what they were doing. Now our little guy is at home resting and recovering well. Thank you!

Dr Cabrera is awesome. I brought in my cat for comprehensive exam. She pointed out the concerns about my cats physical health. It appears that she has performed a thorough exam. She also provided recommendation on the preventive action I should take. I appreciate her service very much. Highly recommended! On the other hand, I have been calling Benfield multiple times for millions of questions about the tests and exams for my cats. Sarah has been patiently answering each of my questions. Very helpful!

One doctor killed my baby boy by prescribing him the wrong dosage of medicine, which caused his organs to shut down, and he died a horrible and painful death. Another doctor wanted me to put down my other baby because she had a blockage in her uritha. So I took her to a REAL vet, and within an hour my baby was fine. Do not take your pet here unless you want it to die, because these people are not real vets, trust me!!!

If I give negative stars I would. This was the worst experience of my life. My puppy had ringworm. Not only did they give the wrong medication for treatment they mussclassified the parasite. As a result we had to suffer for two weeks with ringworm before going to another Vet. Be careful with where you take your pets when medical services are needed.

Churners: Will bring you in for appts as often as possible for $$. Veterinarians clearly straight out of training and suggest adult human doses of benadryl for every physical or behavioral symptom rather than giving a legitimate diagnosis. Lost a really quality vet when Dr. A left.

Took my ball python here because she had what I suspected were mites. Not only was the vet knowledgeable but after the initial free visit coupon I printed online the price was reasonable and fair and the staff was extremely courteous.
