My family have been patients of Dr. Alex (Osinovsky) for over thirteen years. About a year ago, a relative strongly recommended that we try another dental practice in Vienna. The dentist was just a personable and charming as Dr. Alex, but I got the feeling that he was trying too hard to pressure me into cosmetic work that was unnecessary and expensive. I was disappointed also when I received the bill which had additional charges that were not discussed before hand. Afterwards, I was simply told that the insurance would only pay X for the cleaning and I would have to pay out of pocket an additional $65.00. This for a rushed cleaning job that Dr. Alex Osinovskys practice would perform 100% covered under our insurance. When I came in for my subsequent cleaning at Dr. Osinovskys Tysons Dental office, their hygenist discovered that I had developed gingivitis. They prescribed a deep scaling (root planing) that was not covered under my Federal Employees Blue Cross Blue Shield. Hena pointed me in the direction of a discount dental plan that they worked with, and I was able to afford this treatment within our budget. Most important, the dental treatment was performed as if I were paying premium prices. Treena, their professional hygenist took enormous care and pride in her work, and shared her concern with her collegues in the office to ensure that the treatment plan was appropriate at every step. She even called me to follow up on the first half of the procedure to make sure I was not suffering any discomfort. When I was growing up, our family dentist was my fathers second cousin, and I honestly feel that Dr. Alex Osinovsky and his associates provide me with dental care that was as attentive and caring as they would their own flesh and blood. I think that Dr. Alex Osinovsky has attracted a group of professionals that share his passion and art. Any prospective patient should feel confident, as well as fortunate to have their dental health in the hands of these compassionate and talented professionals.

I am writing this review in praise of my positive experience with Tysons Dental Associates for the treatment of a tooth in need of root canal therapy. For this procedure I elected to use oral sedation because of a previous negative experience with root canal therapy (with a previous dental clinic) that left me fearing and dreading having another root canal. In the past having a root canal or even a sometimes even a filling meant being left with lingering pain for weeks and sometimes months following the procedure. Even getting completely numb in the past has been a challenge for me and I often required so many shots it would leave my mouth sore for a week after the procedure. Although hesitant and a little anxious at first, my experience with Tysons Dental Associates and specifically with Dr. Alex, was easy, pain and anxiety free, and resulted in very little pain and healing time afterwards. Indeed, the very next day I was able to eat my favorite foods with ease and required no additional pain medication, save for a few aspirin. I cannot recommend this method enough (oral sedation), as I feel that along with Dr. Alexs gentle hand the oral sedation really helped me to have a positive experience instead of yet another negative experience. I credit my quick recovery due to the fact that my issue was treated promptly and because I elected to used oral sedation which in my opinion allowed me to relax and receive fewer numbing injections.

I went to Tysons Dental Associates because of the convenient location to my workplace and also at the recommendation of a close friend who has been going to see Dr. Alex Osinovsky for years and has always had a pleasurable experience. I, however, was not lucky enough to have Dr. Osinovsky as my dentist. I had to go in for a cleaning and to get a small cavity filled. The dental hygienst did an excellent job and the cleaning went smoothly. She finished early so I patiently waited until it was time to see Dr. Wissam Ali to get my cavity filled. After sitting and waiting for more than 30 minutes total and inquiring twice if Dr. Ali was going to see me anytime soon so I know whether or not to continue waiting or if I should just reschedule since I have to get to work, I was finally greeted by Dr. Ali who failed to apologize and acknowledge that I have been waiting. I understand that I am not the only patient, but my time is just as valuable as his. A simple apology and smile would have been enough. Instead, he tells me that the clock I am looking at is early and that it is only 9:45. I look down at my cell phone immediately; it reads 9:53. Maybe thats one reason youre behind schedule, Dr. Ali. If you are looking for a friendly and personable dentist, Dr. Ali is not the one for you. Im sorry to say that he made my experience very unpleasant. Needless to say, Ill be switching to another dentist that is more professional and respects my schedule.

Первое, что радует - практически полный комплекс услуг, вам не нужно бегать по другим врачам и гигиенистам. Второе, доктор несмотря на огромную занятость всегда с находит возможность обсудить различные варианты решения. Ну и третье, само качество работы - Алекс выполняет и даже мелкие детали тщательно и аккуратно. Позаботьтесь о здоровье своих зубов, а дантисты вам помогут. Отедeльное спасибо Марии - ассистенту доктора. Очень внимательна и доброжелательна. Всегда спрашивайте ее - боль обойдет вас стороной.

I feel really conflicted about this office. On the one hand, their office is very nice, and their staff are highly competent. But the actual dentists have the bedside manner of a brick wall. In five visits there, I have never had the same dentist twice -- even when I thought I had scheduled to do so. After a very pleasant cleaning, I always found the dentists exam half-hearted, and even at times felt as if they were looking for an opportunity for an "up-sell" to a more complex procedure. It only reinforced this impression when they started sending me coupons for things like "$200 off sedation". If I didnt feel like the dentists in charge were so commercially minded -- if I felt like they were trustworty -- then I would probably be a loyal customer. But as it is, Im actively looking for another dentist so that I dont have to go back. Oh yeah -- theyre also offering people $20 if they fill out a review on here and show it to them. To quote their email: "Just print out your review and show us as proof at your next appointment and we will gladly credit your account for $20!" Im guessing they will be less inclined to give people the discount for bad reviews...

Tysons Dental definitely deserves 5 stars. I have been going for 7 years and have always been pleased with the care I have received. The hygienists are very thorough, gentle, and friendly. No one likes getting their teeth cleaned and I have been to dentists who scold you for bad hygiene, here this is not the case. Tysons Dental wants to help you achieve healthy teeth and will address everything in a positive manner. Im a bad grinder and was grinding through your average nightguard. Dr. Alex took the time to look up some better options for me. Not only is my new nightguard better but he also asked me to come in for free follow-up appts so he could keep tabs on me to make sure it was still working and I was comfortable with it. Also, I hate getting cavities filled and one time I got really nervous/upset during the procedure, so they just stopped and brought me a magazine and a kiddie juicebox so I could take a break to chill out and calm down. I felt like a baby, but still it was so nice of them! So I definitely recommend Tysons Dental, they make the whole experience easier.
