Go to yelp, read the other reviews. They all say the same thing! This has been one of the worst dental experiences ever! Not because of the dentist - but solely because of the receptionist. Do. Not. Go. Here. Insurance was filed incorrectly, it took six months for the receptionist to figure out they were sending the information for the wrong tooth for insurance. Insurance denied work needed to be done on the perfectly fine tooth, and in the meantime, the dentist demanded we pay in full or they were sending me to collections. This all happened around Christmas - yes it has taken that long to sort out. So we paid for a root canal and cap in full. You think you would be able to talk this whole situation out, but have you ever tried to call? Before you go in, just try to call and see if it doesnt go straight to voicemail after the second ring. Try to leave a message and you will never hear anything back. After 45 minutes of calling, and finally getting through to someone, the receptionist will just deny any wrong was done. So once the problem was figured out, the receptionist refused to reprocess our paperwork, saying the file was closed. Yeah, we had to get our insurance advisor to call them directly and explain thats not how things work. So the paperwork was reprocessed, insurance paid the balance to the dentist, and the dentist was supposed to reimburse what we had paid. (You cant pay twice for the same procedure on the same tooth). Well, thats now where we are. No check ever arrived, we moved and I have gone in person and gave them my new address. Still nothing. Call on a Friday and you will get the part time receptionist. She is great, and sees exactly where the problem is, but she has to pass along message to the main receptionist..... So until then, I will just keep trying to call. Is there a BBB for dentists?

My partner recommended Bellevue Specialized Dental Care, as hed been using them for a few years. Id had a dental emergency and needed a crown ASAP, and they fit me right in. For the crown, they were quite cost competitive and in discussion of options I always felt that my opinion was valuable; I never found myself being "sold" a treatment plan. Later, when my financial situation improved, I went back for routine cleanings and have had several small issues resolved (old fillings replaced; exposed dentin at gum line filled), and my oral health is better than it has been in years! While pain-free dental work is rare, Ive had less pain with BSDC than other dentists Ive used. These folks are not the cheapest but theyre definitely the best Ive experienced. Highly recommended. Treatment Length with Dr. Aronowitz: One year About Hygienist: Three different hygienists have worked with me, and theyve all been at the top of their field in terms of professionalism and comfort.

After moving to Bellevue a while ago I decided to take courage and started looking for a dentist in the area. We found Dr. Aronowitz with help of a friend that was already living here. What can I say, I was lucky - Dr. Aronowitz is one of the best dentists one can have. First and most important, professional , knowledgeable and honest, then of course all that go around with kind stuff, taking the time to explain you all, ability to have nitrous oxide for relaxing while in treatment, gentle painless treatments etc… I had deep hygiene cleanings just in time to avoid periodontitis, a few fillings and replacements of old cracking fillings. Now all our family is using his services and we are all very happy. I strongly recommend him.

After getting questionable recommendations by another dentist, including a scheduled root canal, I stopped by Dr. Aronowitz for a second opinion. He not only waived the charge for an extra X-ray the other dentist had failed to perform, he was also able to explain what was needed and what wasnt, in clear language, while pointing out to me on the x-rays and with his pick where the areas of concern were. Turns out I dont need the root canal, nor the root planing and scaling, and everything else cost less than expected! The dental surgeon he recommended for my wisdom tooth extraction was equally awesome, both with low cost and excellent work, it is healing faster than expected. 6 Stars!

I was in Seattle on business and chose Dr. Aronowitz because he was highly rated on this site. The rating was completely accurate. I called up with a toothache and they were able to see me that day, diagnose me and treat me first thing the following morning. Everyone at the practice was incredibly friendly and reassuring, and the overall experience was better than any Ive had at other dentists. Would highly recommend Dr. Aronowitz (and the hygienist!).

BSDC has been the go-to place for my entire familys dental needs for over a decade now. My kids have grown up seeing Dr Aronowitz and have had such lovely experiences at their hygenist visits too. The Dr and his staff are caring and very good at setting up appointments; they have been flexible in giving us date and time options that suit our busy schedules. We highly recommend Dr Aronowitz and his establishment!

I visited Dr. Aronowitz for a check-up, some fillings and a scaling and root planning cleaning today. He was very friendly and made everything easy to understand and was gentle. The front desk was exceptional as well as the rest of the back office staff. The hygienist was very gentle and explained everything very well I am recommending Bellevue Specialized Dental to all of my family and friends!

Excellent service from a very caring dentist. Dr. Aronowitz was very thorough in his treatment for my TMJ pain. I highly recommend his services to others who suffer from this malady. In the past, I thought I would just have to "live with it". So glad that that is no longer the case. Thank you Dr. Aronowitz! p.s. Also, his staff is friendly and helpful.
