I began taking my dogs to Buckley Veterinary Hospital back in 2007. Although reasonably satisfied with the service at that point in time, it wasnt until Dr. Dennette Wood took over as owner that I knew I had found a vet for life. Dr. Wood quickly made the necessary changes to improve the quality and service of the hospital. Soon, their business hours increased, making it more convenient for those with busy schedules to get their pets to the vet in a timely manner. Staying open late and being open on Saturdays is a convenience that very few veterinarian hospitals offer. It seems they understand the importance of hiring outgoing individuals who not only care about animals, but work hard to ensure their clients are 100% satisified. In addition to the fine care they give my dogs, BVH has served an important need to the community by supporting our nonprofit organization, Left Behind K-9 Rescue. We work to save and rehabilitate many types of dogs who have become homeless and are in need of a second chance. Most of these dogs were never cared for throughout their lives, and therefore are usually in need of a great deal of medical attention. BVH has become our most important partner by making the vet visits very affordable and ensuring the rescues are thoroughly cared for. One of the biggest compliments we receive from adopting families is how impressed they are with the care their rescue dog received while at the veterinarian. We have BVH to thank for that! It truly is remarkable to see the passion and experience the team at BVH has in caring for the pets of our community. I recommend them to all my friends, family, and colleagues because I know they will provide the proper care necessary to our four-legged friends in need.

I truly wish that there was a negative on this site like a -5 Stars. Dr. Wood has no people skills or bedside manner for ill animals or there families. Asking a patient what they would like done with their friend without any comforting advice or options...is a huge miss! I promise I will never go there again and if you truly care about your family animal, I would suggest a different clinic. Hopefully this will save another family the horrible experience my family had today. "Dr" Wood should consider a profession that does not deal with animals or humans she lacks any personal skills and is patronizing when trying to communicate. Furthermore, my family has been seen at this clinic for 14 years, but the last few years have been less than acceptable. I know they had big shoes to fill, when coming to this clinic so I gave them more chances then I ever should have! Bring back Dr. Gran a professional with a heart!

I took my 2 year old dog in for ear and fur loss issues + nail clipping, had a muzzle on her becouse she does not "like" to have her nails clipped, (i thought the vet techs could do a good job at the nail clipping). This Dr. Wood took one look at this muzzle acted like my dog was completly unapprochable and the whole visit became about behavior issues and not the medical issues i took her there for. I was told that next time i bring her in i stop by first and get a tranquilizer to knock her out first. Medical issues were ignored and i left there with nothing but a bill! I guess they only allow Perfect Pets and not pets who are shy around strangers. Staff was nice... This Dr. is a ripoff, ill be going else where for my dogs medical issue!

I was VERY disappointed in the customer service they showed to myself and dog because we were a NEW client, ALL clients should be treated equally !!! That is HOW you build your business. Along with that to tell me that a exam ( charge for ) needed to be done to see if it was TRUE my dog needed to be put down!! If I didnt care about my animal I would have taken it to the POUND!!! LOVE LOVE Foothills Vet they were warm compassionate and thanked ME for knowing that it was time to stop allowing my pet to suffer because I didnt want to let go!!!

Quality Veterinary Care from Very Caring People of High Integrity. Our dogs sense their kindness and show a level of calm not exhibited at other offices visited prior to becoming a Buckley customer, and the compassion shown to their customers is unparalleled. Additionally, the facilities are top notch, extremely clean and modern..! I would recommend Doctor Wood and her staff without reservation to anyone. So would Domino, Daisy, and Doodle.. :-)}

Their customer service is awesome! I came to Buckley Vet for the first time last week. They were able to get my dog in for an issue with his eye the same day I called. They greeted me on a first name basis along with my dog (my guess is that they looked at the schedule ahead of time). Dr. Wood was thorough but to the point, and they followed up with a call two days later to check-in. Highly recommend these guys! Thanks again.

I was a regular at another animal hospital but, had a not so pleasant experience so decided to try this place. Absolutely glad I did. Every time we take our other youngest daughter, a well plumped beagle. We are always very pleased, we even received a call the next day to see how she was doing after a paw injury. Very impressive. The staff and Dr. Wood have always treated my two cats with compassion, and me as well. It can be just as scary being in a vet for a pet owner as it can be for a pet. It is a good feeling knowing where I can bring them if they need something. I would (and do) recommend them.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have the Buckley Animal Hospital as the caretakers of my pugs, and I have a few! The care,compassion, and customer service is without comparison: STELLAR!!!! The veterinarians are excellent, and the staff is wonderful.
