Dr. Pearson is aboslutely wonderful. All my children have been seeing him for years. His front desk staff, one woman in particular, is quite possibly the rudest prson I have ever encountered in the medical field. One of my daughters school requested some documents, which I requested from the office. I live quite away from Dr. Pearson and called and asked if it would be at all possible for the to fax the documents. I was told by this woman "no, it would be too much work for me." The phone conversation was extremely awkward, since I told her my name and my daughters name and the situation, she stayed silent on the phone like she was not listening for a full minute. I had to ask hello? hello?" to see if the line disconnected. She kept saying "no, I wont do that, it is too much work for me" and she kept saying "its too much work Id have to call and see if they recieved it" after I informed her I would be more than happy to call the school to confirm they recieved the documents. This after I told her it was an emergency document, and I offered payment. She was exceedingly rude. And after I gave up, I said "Thats okay, I can pick it up. Thank you for your help though" She rudely slammed the phone down. Dr. Pearson is wonderful, but you will have to weed through lazy, uncaring front desk staff.

Always on time. We never wait long to be seen. The doctor takes time to really know the patient and family. He is very knowledgeable in pediatrics and all surrounding issues (latest on vaccine pros/cons, natural & organic topics, child development and research on what latest findings, etc). The doctor spends a lot of time on the patient and clearly communicates. This is a rare find these days! You never feel like a number being pushed through to see the highest volume of patience, but instead you feel like you have a doctor who wants to educate you and support you in making the best decisions for your childs health and develolment.

My family has been with Dr. Pearson since 1974 and dont plan on stopping until he no longer practices. The original staff was awesome! The new staff is great as well. To some it is just a job but to others it is a passion, career. As for the wait time being long at times...that is the price you have to pay with a Doctor who is truly about his patients and their families. He listens attentively to your questions and concerns. Now you may go elsewhere and have the doctor rush through you visit and completely ignore you and miss vital health issues but I do not think that would be in your best interest. Good day.

My children have been going to Dr. Pearson since they were infants. They are now 11 and 12 years old. We lived in Puyallup when we first found him and have moved to Tacoma, but I dont plan on going anywhere else until he says we need to!!! He has always given quality care by actually taking time one on one to explain and communicate exactly what was going on and what to expect next. Ive never seen better, thorough, quality care than what weve received from him. Keep up the good work Dr. Pearson, and thank you so much for doing such an OUTSTANDING job!!!

His receptionist rudely hung up on me and refused to speak with me as I was attempting to ask her questions about my sons appointment. She was speaking over me while I was just simply curious about shot records and whatnot! Im not a confrontational person and I dont usually post things like these. However, she was EXTREMELY disrespectful and should not be up in front dealing with parents and patients.

My kids have been coming here for over a year now and today is the final time. I just cant handle it anymore. I ALWAYS have an appointment and I always have to wait for 1-3 hours AFTER the nurse has come to see my kids. Its absolute agony wrestling with a screaming baby for over an hour. Im going somewhere else.

We started seeing Dr Pearson in 1987, he became my first borns pediatrician. He now sees all of my grandchildren. He is great doctor that takes his time with you. He has always had a wonderful staff. Its a pleasure to go to appointment with my grandkids and see them all.

Dr. Pearson is wonderful and my sons have been under his care for a year now. In reference to the last few reviews about the rude office staff, he must have re-staffed his office because everyone is just lovely. We are so very happy to have found Dr. Pearson.
