If I could give them 100 stars I would. The staff is delightful, attentive, and accommodating and Dr. Miller is an absolute gem. We first visited Dr. Miller towards the end of my dogs life, after years of medical issues and a chronic injury. To her immense credit Dr. Miller read (and remembered) my dogs LENGTHY medical records before our appointment. She also came prepared with print outs describing the conditions and medications we would review together, knowing that its a lot of information and easy to forget, especially when emotions are high. Weve seen many competent and caring vets, but Four Paws has set a new standard for us. When it was time to say goodbye to our beloved pet Dr. Miller and her vet tech came to our home and performed the euthanasia in the comfort of our backyard. They were patient, compassionate and nurturing to us as well as to our dog, and we feel there is nothing more you can hope for in a Vet.

Yesterday, we went to Four Paws for the first time. I just moved to the area and was nervous about finding a new vet who would a) provide great treatment, b) not make my anxious dog more anxious and c) not charge me for things without outlining them first. I took both of my dogs there for exams and vaccines. The staff were wonderful with the dogs, taking care to reduce the anxiety of a typical vet visit by providing treats for both, and toys to occupy my 12 w/o pup. Dr. Miller did a thorough exam on each of them and took the time to talk me through minor concerns that she had, as well as provide further reading on the vaccines we were considering. They also gave me a price list before moving forward with treatment, even for something as routine as vaccines and flea medication. I understand what others are saying about the clinic being expensive, but there were no surprises and for the care we received Im happy to pay.

I gotta admit I wasnt sure about them originally becuase they seem small BUT, we have lived in 5 states and this is a GREAT vet, specifically Dr. Carson. The staff are always caring and seem to be able to fit us in even on short notice. While vet appointments in general arent cheap, they always work w/ us (like having a tech give routine shots). I just cant say enough about Dr. Carson though. She really takes the time to explain things and work with us regarding our dogs meds. She has several diseases and making sure the interactions are minimal but effective and Dr. Carson is always communicating with us regarding new meds or making sure the old ones are doing what they are supposed to!! So glad we found them...

The link on google takes me to the vets site. I signed up for an appointment and went to the vet at the indicated time. I waited in line 15 minutes. It was hot (like 5-10 degrees too warm), loud, chaotic, and understaffed. When I finally got help it turns out there are two different vet facilities named nearly identically 15 minutes apart from each other. The web site Google showed near my house goes to the web site for the vet near downtown. So tip to anyone who works there who happens to read this: when you call people back to confirm an appointment, please make sure they understand you have multiple locations and they are making an appointment with who they think they are.

The experience and service was fine, but they do try and up-sell you products which I dont appreciate. They also threw the kitchen sink at my dogs belly rash...they prescribed three different pills and a spray AND highly recommended we get an allergy sensitive shampoo which, luck would have it, they sell on site. All in all the visit cost me $240....and my dogs rash came back within a month. I would like to support a local business, but not everyone who lives around Seward Park is a millionaire, so Ill be going to Petco or somewhere else that is budget friendly from now on.

Cannot say enough great things about Four Paws. Before moving to Seattle, we had always taken our pets to a family member who was our vet - so, we were a little skeptical about finding someone new. A friend recommended Four Paws to us, and we are so glad they did! Everyone is so friendly, very knowledgeable, and always sweet to our pup when we come in. They call with updates as needed and even call the day after an appointment to check on our pet and make sure theyre okay. We highly recommend Four Paws to anyone who is looking for a new vet!

Four Paws is just a cash register. I took my Chihuahua there because he was whimpering & wouldnt come out of his crate at home. The only symptom the observed was that he was trembling, which is something he always does at the vet. They wanted to do blood work. I took him to Rainier Beach vet who recognized that he had a hurt back for which he was treated & doing fine now. I would never take an animal to four Paws again: they delayed the dog getting treatment. If you just want to spend a lot of money go to Four Paws.

Ive seen a number of vets over my years with dogs. Dr Miller is one if those rare ones. She offers everything I look for. Fantastic listening skills and thoughtful, thorough exams. Her care for my dogs has been simply wonderful. (The 4 stars are because it is a bit pricey and do not reflect Dr Millers care).

Just had to euthanize my 14 year old dog. The staff at Four Paws fit us in at the end of the day and were incredibly understanding and kind. They explained all of the technical/biological things that were going on so we wouldnt be surprised, and they gave us as much time as we needed to grieve.

Dr. Reed is the best veterinarian I have worked with so far. My dog is extremely terrified of the vet and Dr. Reed knows how to work with her in the gentlest way possible. They are also the only veterinary center I have seen that knows the concept of high value treats! Hot dogs!

Practical, compassionate care. My vet offered a choice of a trial of conservative treatment and a more thorough testing and diagnostic pathway. I have never felt pressured to spend money or do more for my cats by Dr. Miller, and admire her skills

Our pitbull cut his front leg open and Four Paws was able to see him urgently, clean the wound and staple it and dress it. The techs and vet were great! I highly recommend them.
