Youve done it, youve discovered the all around best veterinary clinic in Snohomish county for all your furry familys needs. Your internet research and weighing options is over. If you are within 45 minutes of this Snohomish clinic, I sincerely recommend it be your Pets primary care destination. Previously located on hwy9 in Clearview, Mountain View AH retained its beloved veterinarian, Dr. Bliven. (Hes got enough positive feedback in his tenure to make you think he won the Novel Peace Prize.) Im posting my second Google review ever after great consideration. Im a chiweenie owner. (As well as 2 parakeets and a Betta fish) Dr. Anders Thoreson has moved into a senior role and saw my chiweenie for Her first exam there. I was nervous because 1) I was hoping for the legendary Dr. Bliven I had heard about, and 2) because Dr. Thoreson is young and I didnt know if he had been in a practice long enough to fine tune his craft. (I also graduated high school with him.) Honestly, he showed the care and empathy you want for your companion, while displaying impressive composure and razor focus when physically handling my dog. She excavated a bunny den and contacted bot flies and did not want to be touched; Dr. Thoreson respected that, and went at her speed to connect with her to help her relax. His being young is actually a bonus because that means he could be your Pets Dr. for its entire life. This is so long, Im sure youve stopped reading, but having the right vet, even if you rarely go, is imperative to your pets health. I know that searching for a vet can be stressful and is often when your pet is not well, but you can be confident that taking your furball here is the right choice. It was for me, and every other person Ive asked.

Weve been taking our pets to Dr Bliven since 1976 when he was first starting out. He was great and we have followed him no matter how far. He loves his work and has given our pets the best care! We once had to take one of our pets to another place late in the evening. They wanted to do lots of treatments at a outrageous cost! Unfortunately we had to put our pet down ( he got into poison). After telling Dr Bliven he said call no matter what time and he would be there! He is true to his word and will care for your pet as if it was his own. His whole staff is kind and caring and I would never think of going anywhere else!! Please see Dr Bliven and his staff!! Everyone in my family take their pets to Dr Bliven. Its been almost 40 years since our first pet visit.....would never trust anyone else!! If I could would give 100 stars!!

My golden retriever was taken here to be seen about an infected hot spot on his face, as you can imagine hes in quite a bit of pain and does not want anyone touching it. As Bliven went to shave my dogs face, my dog naturally started snapping at him, instead of taking the time to calm my dog and muzzle him, he punched him. 3 times, this is not right, not only will it cause fearfulness and distrust towards people in my dog, it could have physically harmed him. It makes me sad to write this review, as an aspiring veterinarian I feel that the situation could have been handled with MUCH more care. Screw you, Bliven.

Weve been taking our kitties here for about 6 years now, and Dr. Bliven is wonderful. Hes knowledgeable, helpful, honest (and great with animals of all kinds), and he and the rest of the staff are very professional and courteous. Best of all, they dont overcharge you or push unnecessary products or procedures on you, and there are no hidden fees. We always have a great experience. I wish all veterinarians could be as great as Mountain View and Dr. Bliven.

Wow what a great place. Everyone in this place are helpful and positive. My dog had an infection under her eye, they got her right in and she was very comfortable with them, even when the vet had to cut the area to let it drain. This was her first real vet visit. I highly recomend this office. So happy we found a great place to be there for our puppies

HANDS DOWN BEST VET EVER. After going to many horrible vet offices the boyfriends heard about Mountain View Animal Hospital. At first I was like oh boy another one to try, no I would recommend them to anyone. Everyone is nice, the Vets never try and get you to spend extra money on services not needed. They are thorough and kind to your animals.

Dr.Bliven and Dr.Thorston have been great caregivers to our many animals. They have always been kind and given us great respect especially in hard times. They both are very knowledgeable and experienced, and we greatly prefer them.
