We have been taking our pets to Felton Veterinary Hospital for 14 years. They have seen us through two cats and one dog. When our oldest cat turned 17 years and needed to be put down due to health problems, they were very sensitive and reassuring. They always are very attentive and thorough with our pet visits and they remember our pets. Super friendly and helpful staff and Nancy the receptionist has been there for 17 years! Making appointments is a breeze and they are always as accomodating as possible. It is clean and conveniently located; a beautiful facility. They also take CareCredit as well as VISA and M/C, checks and obviously cash. I cant imagine going to any other Vet facility.

I have been taking my many dogs and cats to Felton Veterinary Hospital for over 25 years, and without exception Dr. Atton and his wonderful staff have provided extraordinarily good care for all our furry companions. They have performed everything from complex surgeries to correct hip displaysia and excise cancerous tumors to routine annual physicals and vaccinations--all done with a uniformly high degree of competence and professionalism. Dr Keil, in particular, is a very sensitive care provider, and we always appreciate her willingness to really take the time to listen to our concerns and work with us on resolving whatever problem one of our pets is faced with.

Dr. Atton and crew are invaluable partners in the welfare of our pets. Im confident in their expertise and believe that they possess all of the knowledge and resources needed to provide excellent medical care to our animal friends. Equally important, the entire staff is sensitive, attentive and helpful. Dr. Atton always takes the time to answer all of my questions. I never feel pushed toward tests or procedures that wont ultimately affect my pets health outcomes. I trust his perspective regarding everything from routine care to those very difficult decisions we must sometimes make involving extraordinary care and "end of life." Nice facility, good folks!

Except for one glaring medical error (Dr. Atton (Bob) was not responsible for this), Felton Veterinary Hospital has been our go-to place for veterinary services. Bob has a kind, caring heart and it really shows when hes taking care of your pet. One of our dogs has had over 50 sebaceous cysts which have been successfully removed and treated by Bob and his staff. Also our 100-year old cat has been wonderfully administered to by Bob. At the front desk, youll probably meet Nancy first and immediately enjoy her knowing, but happy, devotion to duty. The nurses, greeters and other paraprofessionals all exude the attitude that makes you want to return.

We love everyone at Felton Veterinary starting with the receptionists, assistants, and all three doctors: Dr. Anton, Dr. Calvert, and Dr. Keil. They are true professionals and know their animals. We so appreciate how kind they were to us when we had to make the difficult yet kind decision to "lay our kitty, Bella down". Each one of the doctors have taken their time to explain options to us without making us feel pressured. They are conveniently located about 10 minutes from our home so we feel safe knowing we can get to them in a hurry if needed. Thank you for being so kind to all 4 of our cats: Patches, Bella, Darla, and Lily.

When we moved to Boulder Creek 10 years ago, I asked the owner of the feed store where he takes his animals. He said Felton Vet. So thats where I went, and havent looked back since. They are the kindest, compassionate group of people I have ever met. Recently I was asked by a friend in need of an emergency with her cat where I go..Felton Vet of course. Recently I was going through end of life care with my almost 16 year old Jack Russell. I am so grateful for the kindness and help I received from both Dr. Atton and Dr. Keil, and of course the entire staff to make her remaining time as fulfilling as possible.

Dr. Calvert, their exotic animal vet, is fantastic. She keeps the owner informed of all options, shows a genuine interest in your animal and their well being, and is communicative before, during and after the appointment. We have love birds, doves, turtles (2 different species), and snakes (4 different species) and she has helped us provide the best care for them. She even made special arrangements for us when we were unable to bring all our animals in. The front desk staff is always very helpful and kind. I would recommend Felton Vet Hospital to anyone with exotic animals in the area.

I have taken my pets to Felton Vet for several years and they have always been cared for by a great staff. I just took my cat Riley to Felton Vet because he had a weeping eye. I waited too long and his eye had become worse and the vet needed to sedate him and debride an ulcerated growth. She did the best for him, but it took a few days to start to heal. It has totally healed!! I am very happy that my senior cat is back to his lovey self. I love Felton Vet. I also take my dog, Coco there and she is well taken care of. These Vets and staff are just the best! Sincerely, Donna

We have two cats that weve been taking to Felton Veterinary for about 5 years now. We have always had excellent care. One of our cats is a bit...wild, who likes to swear, hiss and scratch. A previous Vet in Scotts Valley took her outside the office and returned her wet from water, I was appalled at how they treated her. Not so at Felton Veterinary. They are so kind to our animals, and to our outspoken kitty especially. I was amazed to see that our Vyvyan even purred for Dr. Atton. All the staff is wonderful, caring and helpful. Cant recommend them enough.

My cats have been seen by Dr Keil or Dr Atton since we moved into the San Lorenzo River 9 years ago. They have always been well treated there, as well as their owners :) The staff at front desk is always affable, kind and courteous. We have a blind and epileptic cat who does not do well with needles and injections and had been poorly treated by some other vet technicians at another clinic because she turns wild when you try to poke her. But at the Felton hospital, they know how to handle her and it is never a crisis for her. I trust them with my pets.

I drive the extra miles to go from Santa Cruz to Felton Veterinary Hospital, gladly! Dr. Bob Atton saved my friends dogs twice, and when it was eventually their time, mourned them as much as my friend did. So when I got my puppy I knew exactly who I wanted to be his doctor! Dr. Atton is great! He explains things very clearly for us who dont speak medical-ese. Hes friendly, and very caring toward the animals in his care and their owners. The whole staff is friendly and provide excellent service.

We have a 17 years old cat and a 12 years old Westie. We have been going to Felton Vet for about 3 years. The service we receive every time is exceptionally great. From the doctor, the technicians to the reception staff are all super helpful explaining the potential problems aches and pains senior animals could and experience. I can highly recommend this veterinarian clinic with their friendly helpful personnel for anybody who needs veterinarian help.
