**REVIEW CHANGED** Breakdown: Money - A bit spendy for me, but having the carecredit option for payment is what makes me stay. Staff - The vets are all pretty great, the front desk workers can be a bit snooty from time to time. But otherwise, are very friendly. Options - Things like..overnight stay, emergency care etc. Are NOT available here which makes me have to invest in multiple clinics. In a case of an emergency, I couldnt turn to my clinic and had to drive 30 minutes to the nearest pet hospital. That was super hard on us.. **EDIT** 9/18/2017 Ive been going there for years, I will never go back there after what happened. My little kitten had been diagnosed with FIP - Wet. A lethal disease. He was on pain medication and we dropped by 11:30 AM to pick up some pain medication so he could be comfortable for the rest of his time alive. They asked us to leave because they werent seeing any walk ins, only appointments. We explained to Kathy, That my kitten has very little time left and we just came to grab our prescription before his pain meds wore off around noon. They told us to come back at 2 PM and see the doctor. We were appalled, The compassion they showed me was very fake. When we got back at 2 PM, they made us wait another hour before seeing us - knowing clearly my kitten was in pain and suffering badly - that we only came to get pain medication for him. Got our meds and got the hell out of there. We noticed that my kittens quality of life was serious going down hill fast and decided to let him go peacefully that day. We called to see what their options were and they said "Wed have to wait in the lobby an hour or two before we could put him down." We said screw that. How could you make us wait in a lobby for that long? His last couple of hours in a noisy lobby with dogs? My kitten is terrified of dogs. To put it in perspective: Its like going into a emergency clinic with your child whos dying in less than 12 hours because of a horrible disease and theyre refusing to treat your kid or give anything to help the pain, because theyre only accepting appointments. How screwed up is that? If that was you and your family, wouldnt you be furious? Would you ever go back to that clinic? Horrible service. Absolutely fake compassion and follows their regular procedures too closely. Also theyre very rude over the phone. We took my kitten somewhere else where they immediately took us in and gave us time to be with him in a comfortable space to say our goodbyes. A little more expensive, but completely worth the treatment we received. I dont care if companion pet clinic is less than a mile from my house, I will never go back there for anything.

Let me start by saying that the front of office staff was wonderful. The techs were typical. But, I found the vet herself to be rude. I explained to everyone that we are low income (my husband owns his own business and I homeschool our children). We do not have debt, and we are living comfortably -- however I make it a habit of living frugally and that includes vaccinating (aside from rabies) our own pets to save money. I took my older kitty in for two issues, the first and most concerning was an upper respiratory issues, the second was weight loss. She looked at the cat, and without explanation of what she thought based on experience started recommending tests. The first recommendation was a $100 blood panel, which would not explain the "kitty cold" that I brought her in for, and wouldnt help my cat breath. When I said no, she leaned back and sarcastically responded with a "well, then why dont you tell me what you want to do." Had it been sincere or caring in anyway . . . So, I walked out. I paid the exam fee first of course. Then sitting in the parking lot, I made an appointment with a different, vet to see kitty before pulling out of the parking lot. Now, this is potentially unfair of me, but I called them when I got home. Again, the front staff was wonderful -- but I asked if it was possible to bring my healthy dog in and give the dog a rabies shot. I asked for them to waive the exam fee because the first appointment was a wash (and though this isnt their fault because I was about to pay another exam fee this afternoon). I know it was a shot in the dark, but I wanted to see if they would be willing to work with us and maybe all wouldnt be lost. Nope. I hear the owner is wonderful (I did not meet him/her). The front staff was very nice. I didnt interact with the techs enough to make a judgement call. But, I just cant recommend the one vet. Maybe shes seen too many bad pet owners, is calloused, and decided I was one of them? But, I cant imagine her nose could have gotten any higher. I realize that vets go into business for the animal, and not the people, but if you choose this field you have to be able to work with both. Signed, very disappointed.

My cat was a stray we adopted, so I brought her in to get her shots and be spayed. During our first appointment, they shaved her belly and said they didnt see a spay scar, so I booked the appointment. On the day of the spay after I dropped her off, they called me and said there was a scar, but it was in the wrong orientation and position to be a spay scar, and did I want to continue with the operation? I said yes. She turned out to have already been spayed. I was unable to be at the appointment for her suture removal, so my mom took my cat in. The techs told her that before the surgery, they were unable to feel a uterus, and had advised me against proceeding, but that I pushed them into doing it anyway. They said no such thing on the phone when they asked if I wanted to continue! Do you really think I would have put my cat through unnecessary surgery if they had told me it was likely she was already spayed? I had also requested take-home pain meds for my cat when I checked her in for the surgery. They never gave them to me, and when asked about it, said "oh if she acts like shes in pain just come back and get them." Yeah, or you could have just given me what I asked for in the first place! At least they didnt charge me for what I didnt receive. They cut open my cat for no reason, lied to my moms face about what information they had given me, didnt deliver all the requested services, and barely even apologized for what happened ("oh were sorry it happened but it was really all your daughters fault so"). Never taking my precious girl here again, and telling all my friends to avoid this place too!

what a joke, the receptionist try to tell you what is wrong with your animal, the vets do not listen and try to sell you vaccinations with threats of fear and death to your animal. My wife and I were told our dog had kennel cough yet the know it all receptionist would not listen and was rude to my wife. the receptionist told my wife that our dog would have to stay out in the car when it was 87 degrees out and my wife would have to wait two hours. my wife told the receptionist that when she called that she would hav no problem getting in, however when my wife got up there the receptionist told my wife that maybe she should make an appointment first, after telling my wife to come up for a walk in. a month prior I took my dog up to this so called vet clinic, the vet was rude she told my I needed to get a vaccianation for lepto once I denied it she went on this B.S. story about dogs dying from lepto and I fell for her sales pitch. the truth about lepto is its a live virus your dog is getting once vaccinated if you dog becomes ill from lepto there is little that can be done that can lead death to your dog.none of this was explained to me If I was to do my homework and research this before hand my dog would not be vaccinated for this no untreatable virus after the vaccination. Finally, these clowns cant give a actual price for anything and it changes from day to day, so if you have vast sums of money and love to be treated like dirt companion pet clinic is for you.
