A Private User

This is a great vets office. They do not overcrowd their schedule so you feel as if you are their only patient. Dr. Kepner not only diagnoses problems, but also explains exactly what is going on with pictures, drawings and textbooks. I have a dog that has a lot of issues and the Dr. knows when something is beyond his specialty - he is happy to refer to a specialist on certain matters and explains fully on ones he understands and knows. He will implement a comprehensive plan of action to heal or help the pets issues. Do not be afraid to ask questions here - they will be happy to answer them fully without you feeling rushed. I highly reccomend this office for excellent care.

This company is amazing! They are so caring, they go over and beyond the call of duty. A family member had their dog pass way recently and I have never seen so much compassion and care come from a clinic, Im so impressed. They make you feel like its not just your lose but theirs too. I will be recommending this company to anyone I see. I also will be using them for my own pets needs. Im not big on writing review but I felt that they deserve everyone to know how amazing they are and they do care about you and your pet, its not about the money here. Scott is an incredible vet, he handles your beloved pet like its his very own. His care and compassion for animals speaks through his every movement when dealing with them. The office staff is friendly, as accommodating as possible and a pleasure to work with. Even when Im calling every day with new questions they were always happy to spend a few minutes with me making sure I had all the info I needed. The pricing here is really great too. They kind have the whole package at this place. Being new to the area I went to see a few different vets before deciding on our permanent family vet and Scott and his awesome family at RiverView won hands down.

Ive been taking my cat here for the last 3 years. Dr. Kepner is very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. He takes the time to explain every step of the visit (vaccinations, potential side effects, etc) and any treatment necessary. When my cat was a kitten she had ringworm and was resistant to the first type of treatment. Dr. Kepner helped me find a treatment plan that worked for her. He often provides documentation on illnesses, treatment options, and other information that may be helpful. Ive taken my pets to several different veterinarians over the years and this is by far my best experience.

The care was high end. So were the prices. This is with regard to a 17 yr. old cat. Ps. If you receive pills and the cat chokes on them the blame is on you. To then obtain the meds in liquid form is your further expense. There is no "switch out." Lastly, the manner in which this news was delivered - very "in my face" even over the phone - left much to be desired in the realm of customer service, if there is to be repeat business. The doctor is professional; his staff needs tutoring on dealing with "customers."

Scott Keppner has a gift of knowing how to explain the problems that are going on in your pet. He is up-to-date on the most recent findings in his feild as well. This is not the cheapest Vet that you can take your dog/cat, but you can be sure that you will get the correct diagnosis and absolute best help that is possible for your pet. If you have any doubts about the information/care you are getting from your current vet, take him/her to Dr. Keppner and get a second opinion. You will be glad you did.

Dr. Kepner has been our Veterinarian for many years now for both our dogs. He and his staff are very knowledgeable as well as very giving with their time and support in helping you with your pets needs. Both of our dogs had uncommon health issues arise and Dr. Kepner did not hesitate to research and reach out to many other Dr.s and specialists to fully figure out whats best for a treatment plan. At Riverview Animal Hospital, they receive top-notch care. We can trust Dr. Keepers advice, he has never steered us wrong. Hes also referred us to great specialists when needed (one of our dogs has a partially subluxed lens in his leftveye).

They are always able to get us in, even on short notice, and have even had us come in when they are normally closed because they had a few other special cases they had to come into the office for. Our hospital commonly offers multiple routes of medication administration. Unfortunately, some animals will not adapt to pill forms of medication (although many do). We would be happy to write a prescription for liquid versions of medication if requested.
