My experience at this veterinary clinic was terrible and I will never go here again. I was at home and noticed my cat was hyperventilating and I rushed him to the closest Veterinary clinic I could find. I walked in and stated he needed to be seen. I was notified that it was a surgery day and would have to pay additional money to have him seen as it was considered an emergency I paid it seeing as I just wanted him to be seen. They promptly took him in the back to do tests and treat him. Before I finished checking him in they stated that he was going to be brought to a room and they needed to speak to me. I prepared for the worst as best I could. I walked into the room and was told the worst possible news that a pet owner can get. He was going to die and wasnt expected to last the night. They suggested that he be put down and explained how they would do it, they also said that there were a few things they could try but there was no guarantee that it would help and also that its expensive. I thought about my options and seeing as he was up there in age that the treatment option wasnt probably the best idea for him and would only lengthen his life a few years at best and he could possibly be in terrible pain. I told them that I didnt think it was the best idea to treat him and that I would take him home so he could pass with those who love him and could say goodbye. They said that was fine and that he was going to be in pain and would void his body so to use an old blanket I didnt care about. They checked me out and charged me to put him down, I told them thats not what I wanted they apologized for the mix up and refunded the difference. It felt to me that it was more like they wanted the money than to do anything for him at that point for the whole visit. I was up all night with him worried as hell expecting the worst and to my surprise he improve drastically eating, drinking, and using the bathroom normally. They told me that they would contact me the next morning to check on him. I never received a call from them and in fact I had to contact them. I told them that I wanted a partial or full refund from them seeing as if I would have put my boy down for nothing (not to say that he doesnt have medical issues and im seeking other vets to treat him). Now its a few days later and he is still here and improving each day and im optimistic that he will be around awhile longer but still cautious that he will go. I have left numerous messages to speak with someone and keep getting told we will give them the message and no one has contacted me. Im getting a complete run around on the matter and fed up with it. Im not saying that they dont take care of the animals or what have you but due to my experience I will never take any animal to them again. In addition to all this news when they checked me out they gave me only a credit card receipt, There was no break down of any of the services rendered that most places give you. I never even saw or spoke to any vet just the assistant. If it was the vet they never identified themselves and now that I think about it she stated that the vet .... so I am inclined to think that it was a vet assistant that I spoke to. If i could I would not give them any stars seeing as I was that displeased with my experience.

I really wish that this clinic was operated by better management. I, and my dog, love our veterinarian - Dr. Blessing. However, the front office staff is routinely rude, unresponsive and seemingly uncaring when dealing with customers. I have had three bad occurrences within the last month and am considering a change. 1. Front office busy signal - tried to call three different days for over 30 minutes each time and received a busy signal - no answering machine just a busy beep - then was told that they were really busy. - get a new phone system. 2. They didnt stock the medication that their Dr. prescribed - they upsold me to what they did have without consulting the Dr. When I questioned the medical orders I was told that it didnt matter by the receptionist (as her name tag stated) and it was my choice. I reiterated that I wanted to speak with the Dr. and she refused - I finally gave up and just paid the extra charge. Later I was told that the office manager would give me a call and might make an adjustment - never happened - no call, no refund. 3. The Vet Portal is nice, but very incomplete - it doesnt list when a booster shot is needed and this caused us to miss one - again resulting in taking the main shot at a higher cost and then another visit. 4. They ran out of rabies tags??? How can that even happen? It is Milwaukee county, so perhaps they are to blame, but they havent mailed me the tag as promised and I am doubting that it will be sent - since they wrote my name down on a blank piece of paper and put it somewhere. Again, the vet is great, if she left we would leave as well - front office and management is terrible. I need to ask who owns this clinic and see if they can make some changes or its time to move on.

Very disappointed in the level of service and professionalism with this clinic. We had them look at our cat for an itchy ear problem she was having as well as she seemed to have allergies. We took her to the appointment and the front desk was very personable. We then saw the doctor who seemed to understand the present issues at hand. They then took her back to do a lab test on her ears. We then met with the people in the front to pick up her medicine. The person who explained the directions of how to give her the medications was very unclear about how to administer it. We actually called back to verify. Then we got her home and she would not stop scratching at her ears. I then took a look at them and found cotton remnants in her ear that they left in them. We now have been treating her for ten days with the expensive medication they gave her and she is showing no improvement. I am very disappointed in the service we received. It saddens me to think this is how they treat anal who have no way of speaking for themselves about their issues.

Ive searched long & hard for a veterinary clinic to impress me. Its not that Im unreasonable, but I truly want the very best care and compassion for my dogs. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Blessing, and she immediately made me feel as there was no need to look further. She had all the qualities I was looking for in a vet. I wasnt rushed when asking questions, and she truly was genuinely concerned. In this fast paced world of a quick buck and get the customer out fast, it was refreshing to feel the opposite. When I brought my Dempsey in, she was gasping and coughing...I was in line to check in, when Adrianna heard her. She reacted immediately and took her into an oxygen chamber, and didnt worry about the check-in formalities first. This was an awesome observation on her part! Kudos to her! The rest of the stuff was fantastic too, and Dr. Blessing followed up the next day! Im over-the -top impressed with this clinic! Thank you all for your sincere dedication~ Harry Diament
