When I tore my bicep the Dr. was awesome. No nonsense and right on point. From the time of my diagnosis to surgery was not even 2 full days. First time under the knife I was scare $hitless, but everything came out better than I hoped. Next day I was out of the sling as per the Dr and am expecting to make a full recovery. Could not ask for a nicer and more caring Dr , just a really super nice guy. As for St. Lukes is a pain of a pain to navigate, but they are all just doing their job, be patient and the results will be worth the effort.

I have had 2 situations that Ive needed to see Dr Avallone. He is straight forward and direct, kind and gentle. He actually listens to your concerns and never rushes you. He had no hesitation ordering the test(s) to properly diagnose my problems. I did attempt to se another dr, and found this other dr to rush me, ignore my Physical therapy assocs recommendation, etc. Dr Avallone took all the issues and information in, and recommended treatment taking EVERYTHING into account. They dont make Drs like Avallone anymore.. hes great.

So I have been searching for the right doctor to do surgery on me...finally I came across this dr..he looked so sincere and kind and his photo, it gave me a little bit of hope.....UNTIL...All I did was call to make an appointment and the woman who picked up, had a major attitude with me- UNBELIEVABLE! Sooo very unprofessional... Wow. PMSing wouldnt even cover it..she had something up hers. And didnt need to take it out on me thats for sure. Ill never call that place again! She scared me away.

Dr Avallone did surgery on my ankle and my foot. He is a great surgeon and he really cares about his patients. Excellent doctor!
