Client requested that Dr.Linda Jacobsons office post this review on google for her. I spent the first year of my dog’s life getting the advice of several different veterinarians. After many unfortunate experiences I became increasingly discouraged and suspicious of the advice I was being given. I was told to give my Cocker Spaniel puppy antibiotics in situations where it wasn’t warranted. She was on an unnecessarily restrictive diet. I knew in my heart of hearts something wasn’t right. I was so relieved when I found Dr. Linda Jacobson at Dr. Linda Pet Vet. All her advice made perfect sense to me. Her treatments were not dissimilar to treatments for human beings. They were mostly over the counter solutions to minor problems. I only wish I met her when I first got my puppy. It would have saved me endless amounts of anxiety, money, and guilt at the sense that I was always doing the wrong thing. Dr. Jacobson is kind, caring, sensible, direct, available, and her solutions work! I am ever so grateful to have her looking after us. Amy A. New York City

My dogs been a patient here for the past 7 years, and Ive finally had enough and switched vets. While the docs are competent, knowledgeable and friendly, the front desk is lazy, incompetent and rude. Not once, in 7 years, was I seen on time or at the very least within an hour of my scheduled appointment. If you cant manage your appointments, have the courtesy to call me and tell me that the doc is running late. Dont waste 2 hours of my time because you double booked or didnt feel like picking up the phone. When I did leave the office and asked for a copy of my chart, I was told that I will be charged 75 cents per page and I have to get a notarized letter explaining why Im leaving their practice. Are they for real??? I dont dare ask patients in my own office for money for copies of THEIR OWN RECORDS, and I would never even imagine asking for a reason as to why they wish to switch doctors. Its none of your damn business why I wish to leave. Sad to see the talents of good vets wasted by horrible office management.

If I had to describe my experience with the Jacobson Veterinary Practice, I I would be writing into next week.Over a period of almost forty years, every dog I have had has been a patient here. Linda Jacobson and her staff, are the kindest, most caring people, who always go the extra mile to find a solution to whatever problems arise. Several times, there has been no solution, but even then, they have tried their best, and made the situation almost bearable. Between their knowledge and compassion, i could not want more. Thank you Linda, and staff for all that you have done, and continue to do.

Dr. Jacobson saved my second kitty when she ingested a string. Also, I had a concern about an issue that took place with my kitty from 14 years ago and asked her about and and Dr. Jacobson was nice enough to offer her time to talk me through the issue. My first cat had terminal cancer and was operated on. I was young at the time and didnt understand why she was operated on and asked Dr. Jacobson recently and she took the time to explain which was very nice of her.

They have always been so kind and respectful. When my previous dog was having severe issues and we needed to put hom sleep, the staff were very patient and kind and sensitive. Now i bring my latest dog and they are just amazing. They dont push any unnecessary tests or vaccines. They take the time to explain and very good with my dog. I do wish the prices wefe cheaper, byt i dont believe they over priced. I reccomend them for all your pet needs.

Dr. Jacobson has cared for our dog for years and has always been absolutely compassionate and loving, and always listened to us. We recently had to put our dog to sleep and Dr. Pingle was the one to do it. She was incredibly understanding, gentle, and compassionate. You wont find better vets and staff than the ones in this office. They treat you like family. Thank you for everything.

I have 2 cats and Linda Jacobson is their doctor since they were born. Now, one is 16 and the other one is 6. Linda is very attentive, always finds time to listen and is careful before prescribing drastic measures. My cats had various issues and Linda tackled all of them. She knows her stuff and cares for animals and their owners.

made an appt for euthenasia for my baby.i arrived and had to sit in waiting room while my dog was scared.youd think they would escort you in a private room and be ready.otherwise it went well. maybe they could learn from this and be more accomodating for people undergoing a sad stressful time.

Dr. Linda Jacobson is both easy going and on top of the issues! It is clear how much she loves animals. She is always attending conferences to keep up with changes in veterinary research and practices. She responds quickly to questions and concerns. I very glad shes my dogs doctor!

Terrible Her wrong diagnosis led to my cats death The desk was more concerned about payment than my cat. I told everyone I know what happened. Even if she was the only vet available I wouldnt go to her. I started going to her when her practice was still in her parents house

Dr. Jacobson has been my "pet vet" for more than 30 years. So I suppose that speaks for itself. She is a wonderful caring vet whose demeanor shows genuine affection for the animals she treats. Her staff is as dedicated and interested in the care of your pet as is Dr. J.

Dr. Linda Jacobson of Jacobson Veterinary Clinic not only provided care for my previous cat Princess, she later placed a rescue cat named Joey with me -- though I renamed him "Kareem" because is as LONG as Kareem Abdul Jabbar is TALL (72"). Lindas a wonderful vet.

There is always tender loving care at Dr. Jacobsons office, even when events turn out not to be so great -- perhaps, especially then. Thoughtful attention is given to animals as well as humans. Its a professional operation and I recommend it highly.

Agreed, receptionist was rude and puts you on hold in mid sentence. Also at times, feels unprofessional especially when asking questions about your beloved pet - only to get an answer like, dont worry about it, its nothing, but feed these meds.
