After checking out my other options, I have recently chosen Dr. Bard Leveys office for my invisible braces for the following reasons: 1. Another office in Mt. Kisco had an offer on the web for a $1,500 discount. However the base fee was substantially higher, and they were not clear on other potential incidental fees. 2. The other office made me wait 1/2 hour and did not apologize. That dentist gave me all of 5 minutes, was rather blunt, and had one of her assistants talk about the financial side of the deal. Dr. Leveys office did not make me wait, and Dr. Levey presented the financial information so we could discuss options. 3. Although every dentist is in the business to make a living, this fact was very apparent in the other office, while Dr. Leveys office made me feel valued. 4. Dr. Levey has a friendly team and Dr. Levey has a great bedside manner. I feel this fact is pretty important since a dentist has to get up close and personal with their clients mouths. Dr. Levey also displayed flexibility and creative thinking about options to suit my end objective. 5. At the end of the day, even though Dr. Levey was slightly more expensive (after the large discount offered by the other office), Im in this for the long term, and like to give local businesses like Dr. Levey patronage when he and his team have so greatly earned it.

Heres the thing: this guy is really one-of-a kind. Im 64 and Ive been to a lot of dentists in my life. But I have never been to one who treats me and my mouth with more respect and integrity. When he is working on you, its almost as though he were working on his own mouth. Heres just one example: do you know how some dentists occasionally bump their instruments into your teeth or gums as they are inserting or removing them from your mouth? A lot of dentists just seem to focus on the tooth they are working on, and forget there is a mouth and person attached. Dr. Levey never forgets. Not only that, but he is also the least arrogant dentist I have ever met. He listens to your concerns, takes them seriously and does not interrupt. As he is working on you, he lets you know what he is doing each step of the way. Im a real patient of Dr. Levey, not a friend or family member. I expect that if you look hard you can find dentists who are as technically competent. And you can certainly find cheaper dentistry. But if you want to do yourself a favor, if you want to find someone (and Im not overstating it here) who you will really feel great about seeing...then Dr. Levey is your man.

I did not have a good experience with Dr Levey when I saw him last summer. I have never had a problem with my teeth, I went to him for a regular check up, my only complaint was that the gum around one tooth bled slightly when I brushed. I was totally taken aback by the aggressive sales approach that he and the hygienist took. If I remember correctly, I told that I had 4 cavities (I didnt let them do x-rays),and that I had a dangerous gum disease that could cause a myriad of health problems, and that I needed very expensive gum treatment (I believe 4 times a year and not covered by insurance). I left very quickly. A couple of weeks later I went to a different dentist that was highly recommended. It turns out that I didnt have any cavities or gum disease. The x-rays showed my teeth to be in perfect health. The hygienist told me to floss 2 times a day (I was only doing it once per day) and to change electric tooth brushes. Worked for me - no problems 8 months later.

First time patient. Bait and switch rip off. First, rates for procedures are double of any other dentist. Look toward $600 fillings that any other dentist would do for $250. Second, when asked if they take Guardian, receptionist insisted that they "work" with all insurance companies. Once I received a bill it turned out that they were out of network. Third, does not work with ANY insurance companies. Demands full payment from a patient before you leave without telling you how much you would get back from insurance. Was made to pay $1,400 before leaving, insurance only reimbursed $350. Fourth, called back after the claim to ask for a discount for a first time visitor, denied. Fifth, I was told that they would submit my claim after my visit. Checked claim status online for a month, nothing. Called back in one month later and it turned out they forgot to "press a button". Disgusting. Good luck with your scam.

i went to visit the dentist in westchester for a routine cleaning. low and behold! a cavity was found, soon to be a painless cavity to be taken care of. i like going to dr bard levey because he treats me the same way he treats his family. he and his staff continually measure how i am feeling. they ask real questions and constantly make sure i am doing ok (lets face it, filling in a cavity is no walk in the clouds). their genuine interest in me makes me feel good. i have been to many dentists in westchester - i grew up in white plains and scarsdale where dentists made me wait until it was my turn, but when not with dr levey - i never wait if it it takes me time to get to be seen, its only because i having a nice chat with the staff before i stroll in for my visit! he is the last dentist i will have. i highly recommend dr levey for dental work , even if you live in new york city, he is worth going to westchester for care.

I went in to Dr. Leveys office for a consultation plus pictures and x-rays. The office was lovely, clean, and up-to-date, with a wonderful friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Everyone took the time to explain everything to me step-by-step, which I greatly appreciated, and I didnt feel like anyone was rushing through my appointment so they could start the next. I did find the final decided cost to fill cavities a bit pricey, but I am also unemployed and without dental insurance. They did offer a no-interest payment plan, which was very kind, but it still feels a bit steep for a person in my particular situation. However, I do feel that you are at least getting your moneys worth, which I cant say for every dentist Ive been to. And if you have insurance, then I dont think you could find a better dentists office. So though the price was high, I have made a follow-up appointment. 4 1/2 stars. A great find!

This review is long over due. I have been a patient of Dr. Leveys for many years. Dr. Levey is compassionate, understanding, and extremely accommodating when dealing with my dental fears and anxieties. His work is top notch and has held up over the years. Recently, I had an extremely stressful dental emergency, Dr. Levey and Angel bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule, coordinate with a root canal specialist my appointments, alleviate my concerns and anxiety over the work and end results. I cant thank Dr. Levey and Angel enough for the care they provided during the last month. They made an extremely stressful situation easy on me. I am beyond happy with the restoration Dr. Levey completed.
