i took my first dog there, which under their care needed to be put to sleep before her 3rd birthday because they couldnt find out what was wrong with her and just suggested to put her to sleep. NOT EVEN THREE. I took my now dog there, she developed a pinched nerve, which with steroids was going away. she got this about every six months. she was prescribed steroids everytime it occurred. the office and doctors she went to failed to mention a dog that is given steroids often enough develop cushings. she has now developed it. we took her in to get her spade after developing a pyometria. they left an ovary inside her. causing her to have side effects about five months after. she now has an ovarian remnant and will need surgery to remove the piece THEY left behind. they also told us they would not do the surgery because they have never done one. so NOW I have to pay for another surgery after you have caused my dog so much pain. ever since they did the surgery she has 100% gone downhill. I am taking her in today for emergency services because she has not eaten and has had diarrhea, mood is almost nothing. THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME LOSE MY BEST FRIEND.

We have been going to Seneca Animal hospital for almost 10 years. I have a lot of pets and have always felt we got good care until now. This is the first time one of my pets has had a serious illness. My 10 yr old pug was diagnosed with diabetes and possible cushings disease. He had lost 5 lbs was not eating and was very ill. I took him in they drew the blood and on Monday told me he had diabetes and we started him on insulin. I asked if he needed a regular follow up and was told no. Five days after he started the insulin i checked his glucose with a glucometer and his fasting glucose was almost 400. I called them for direction since his glucose was so high. The secretary conferred with the Vet and called me back with this snarky response "stop checking his glucose he will HATE you" . I had checked it once in 5 days.. I would NOT RECOMMEND Seneca animal hospital. And i will not be going back there.

Have been going here on and off for years, depending upon where I lived. Now I am permanently in the area and was delighted to have this animal hospital be my place of choice. I also met Dr. Kadlec. She is excellent. Patient, kind, a good listener, has good ideas/suggestions for treatment especially in cases that are tricky. Dr. Fijas and Dr. Tomaske are very good. The only vet I didnt care for was Dr. Monahan (sp?). I found her to be impatient, abrupt, and a bit rude. She handled my cat quite roughly. Do not confuse that with firm or assertive; I have no issue with that. I wont see her again. In an emergency, I will go elswhere if she is my only choice . It was the only time I have ever had a negative experience with a vet there. The 5 stars are for all the other vets, eps Dr. K, and the years of quality medical care my furries have recd.

Dr. Tomaschke (sorry for butchering your last name) is the most amazing herp vet in WNY. Hes been or currently is in partner with the Buffalo Zoo, Hawk Creek, R.A.R.E, and many other wildlife foundations and rescues. His vet bills are cheap, and he has no problem telling you the truth on what treatment is BS and what treatment will really work. He doesnt fool around when it comes to your money. Ive been going to him since I was little and had animals, and my moms been going to him for about 20 years now.... Now that Im a adult and am working side by side with a reptile rescue its nice to have a vet like Dr.T who will try to save us cash while still saving the reptile. Hes good with Reptile, Birds, and any other exotic. Dr.Albert I see for my dalmatian, hes great as well

Prices are good. And treatment and compassion is fantastic. I lost my beloved cat to cancer a year ago. I lost my family right before it and it was a very difficult time for me. They couldnt have worked with me better and actually cared about my cats health. (of course, our beloved pets all have to sadly go sometime). But no place I have ever been was so graceful and professional and compassionate. I am having friends from Amherst come here for their pet care due to my high recommendation. I have another cat left and if the economy gets better ever -- i will have another cat and a dog. I know I dont have to worry when they are in the hands of Seneca Animal Hospital. Thank you all... for your sweet staff and excellent Veterinarians.

Front staff could be friendlier, depends on the day I guess, sometimes they are, others they dont say much, but they do welcome you more then not and offer advice over the phone if they can. Dr. Kadlec sees my cat and dog, plus my fathers cats and dog. Shes been great and treats the animals wonderful. Shes been correct always, and if she cant diagnosis properly, she will refer you to someone that can. If I ever have a question she always returns my calls. She genuinely cares about all her patients and their families.

My family and friends and i all take our pets here. Ive tried others places and alwas feel un heard /ignored about my concerns but here at the seneca animal hospital they always listen to my concerns because my cats is my baby. I never feel like there just tring to take my money, when one of my cats paased away they didnt even ask for me to pay a thing until i came back for the ashes they gave be time to grieve which that I think is invaluable.

I have been taking my dog here since he was just a puppy (5 years now). I highly recommend Seneca Animal Hospital! They have always been wonderful and willing to work with you on seeing your pet when you need them too. Their prices are more than reasonable. The staff always friendly and helpful!

Front desk wasnt very welcoming. Vet and vet tech were nice and we had a good experience with them. Their office visit cost more than others and any tests you need are almost double theprice of other vets. I would go somewhere else if my pets needed more than just a check up and shots.

Dr T really cares for you and your pets. He is reasonable and uses common sense treatment options before any ridiculous and expensive procedures. He will cut you a huge break if things do not go so well. Its hard to find a reasonable and friendly avian vet. Ill definitely be back

I have been taking my pets here for about 5 years. From my old iguana to my chihuahua to my kitten who was hit by a car, everyone at Seneca Animal Hospital was amazing and so helpful. The prices are reasonable as well. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
