They caused my dogs death!! NEVER EVER take your pets here!! Spend the extra $10-20 and take them to ASPCA or any other animal clinic. It will save you thousands $$$$$ in the long run and save your pets lives!! My dog was otherwise healthy before I took him to this vet, his only problem was some urinary bladder stones. I was told that surgery was needed asap otherwise my dogs bladder would rupture. They reassured me that it was a simple surgery and they had done this multiple times. It was a mistake to trust them. Mid-procedure they called me and told me there was some complication that my dog MUST to be neutered, which was another few hundred dollars. I had no choice, but to agree to it since they were rushing me saying they were "mid-surgery". After the surgery I came to retrieve my dog only to find him BLEEDING PROFUSELY FROM HIS BALLS!! I was told this was normal and I could take him home. Not only was he continuously dripping blood in the waiting room, he was pissing large amounts of blood. I continuously asked them 10+ times if this was normal after surgery and they kept saying it was. I was told it would stop in a few days. 3 days later he was still losing large amounts of blood to the point that I had a BUCKET OF BLOOD SOAKED TOWELS. Finally they admitted this was unusual and I was told to bring him back to get yet another surgery to remove his testicles. Then I was told he was ANEMIC! OH I wonder why?! Now I was told he needed a blood transfusion or he would die. They charged me yet another several hundred dollars. After the blood transfusion I got a call that there was yet ANOTHER COMPLICATION and I had to put my dog to sleep!! That somehow my dog is rejecting the blood given to him and hes going into cardiac arrest. When I asked if he was properly matched with the correct blood type, I was told that "for dogs you dont need to match their blood types", which I later confirmed with ASPCA that it is not true. I was furious and heartbroken that a "simple procedure" has somehow led from one nightmare to another, one that costed me SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS. I quickly went over to the Hollis Court Animal Clinic and did what I should have done from the beginning, I took him away from those uneducated thieving vets and rushed him to ASPCA where he was given proper care. Unfortunately, his anemia was to severe and passed away. ***Over $7,000 spend and the loss of my dogs life as a result. So if you want to be broke and heartbroken then by all means continue going to these unprofessional, ignorant, lying, scamming people that call themselves vets. No matter how nice or how many times they reassure you, DONT TRUST THEM!! Dont make the same mistake I did. They should be shut down for malpractice! ***

Our relationship with Hollis Court Animal Clinic began when our surgeon Tomas Infernuso referred them to us, and started performing many of our specialty surgery cases at their clinic. We are a large NYC dog rescue group, and we take on many cases of sick and severely injured animals. Dr. Infernuso is simply the best surgeon, his skills and dedication to the animals is unmatched by any other surgeon we have ever used in the past. Dr. Infernuso has saved so many of our injured animals, everything from challenging fractures, to spinal injuries, intestinal blockages, broken jaws, ACL, and FHO surgeries. He uses the most modern surgical techniques, and is always taking it to the next level of care for the animal. He is a doctor who deeply cares about his patients, and it is very clear from the first meeting with him. He will take the time to explain step by step the procedure, and the aftercare that your pet will need after surgery. Our animals have received great care by both Dr. Nestor and Dr. Zarran, while at Hollis Court. They are extremely thorough in diagnosing and caring for all of our animals. They use the latest technology and diagnostics to treat our animals, and we are very pleased with the degree of professionalism that our cases are given. The vet technicians are on point, and also know exactly how to properly treat and provide support to our animals. We are extremely happy with the level of care that all of our animals receive at Hollis Court Animal Clinic.

Ive brought a stray to this place last year to get all its shots and ring worms out of the way. The kitten had bouts of diarrhea and returned to the clinic for another round of round worm meds. This place over charges, I had to learn the hard way. So i decided not to use this clinic anymore. However, it is the only one in the area opened on Sundays. Today, I came across a helpless injured cat on the highway, limping and panting. Took him into the car because other cars were slowing to down driving around it and just looking at the cat without helping it. We put the cat in the car and realized it there was blood coming from the cat, so we quickly drove it to this clinic. The clinic would not agree to look at strays unless u personally take full responsibility for the cat. What kind of vet goes to school to turn away a helpless stray thats injured? So I had no choice but to take responsibility for the cat if they wont. They end up asking me for 500$ to cover for x ray, iv fluid, overnight stay, blood work (FIV test). Thats the cost of someone caring for a helpless animal when Vet clinics are there to just make money.

My dog had developed a severe disc injury similar to IVDD. I took him to a top place in Manhattan where they wanted to charge me $10,000 for surgery! The rescue group I do some work with referred me to Dr. Infernuso and thank god they did! Not only was his rate significantly less but he was AMAZING! It was likely my dog would end up paralyzed but thanks to Dr. Infernusos magic hands he fixed my puppy and he is now walking again! Also Dr. I was in constant communication and contact with me post surgery. He responded to me almost right away each time I texted him. You cant find that kind of "service" anywhere. He really REALLY cares about these animals. He is kind, compassionate and a brilliant surgeon. I will always recommend him too everyone and anyone and I will never let anyone else take care of or touch my dogs! Thank You Dr. Infernuso!!!

Dr. Tomas Infernuso, a surgeon who perfomed a very complicated surgery on my beautiful cat Jesse, is a true GENIUS!! Other vets and other very skilled surgeons gave little or no hope for Jesses survival, whereas Dr. Infernuso not only gave hope but expertly performed the life-saving surgery, removing a huge mass from Jesse;s liver and surrounding organs. Jessem is doing Great!! This man (surgeon) is one of a kind. He is compassionate, brilliant, dedicated and always available to speak!! (rare in this world), but Dr. Infernuso is himself a rare breed. He actually cares about you and your pet. Jesses surgery was performed here at Hollis Court, an immaculate, well staffed and well tuned vet/hospital with outstanding personnel. God Bless you Dr. Infernuso. You are special! You are brilliant! You will be famous! Linda & Ed Batko
