Another veterinary clinic had diagnosed our dog with a bowel obstruction. The cost was over $400 for the diagnosis. They wanted between $3500 and $4500 to perform the surgery. We dont have that kind of money lying around and were afraid we would have to put our dog down. We called the Dryden Animal Clinic. Dr Zwart at the clinic asked us to bring in our dog right away and he performed the surgery. The staff was thoughtful and caring. They kept our dog overnight at the clinic for observation after the surgery. Dr Zwart saved our dogs life! Dr Zwart, if you are reading this, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Oh..... The cost for the surgery at The Dryden Animal Clinic? Less than $350. It looks like we have found a new vet for our animals!

We first heard of Dr. Zwart from a friends family. Theyd been taking all their animals to see Dr. Zwart for decades and spoke so highly of his office that we knew we needed to try it out. No disappointment here - Dr. Zwart has provided us with piece of mind, excellent advice, and has kept our dogs in good health, even as theyve entered old age. I think what we like best is that, to Dr. Zwart, we are less important than our dogs. That might not sound like a compliment but IT IS!!! Weve been to vets who turn all their attention on us - but its not "us" that we are there for! He is patient and puts our dogs at ease, so our visits are quicker and less stressful than they ever used to be. We simply cannot recommend Dr. Zwart to enough people.

Dr. Zwart has been our veterinarian for the past three years. We are extremely pleased with the care our dog has received. Dr. Zwart performed the spay and also did an emergency bowel obstruction removal (those darn stuffed toys). He is very gentle and kind with with animals. His prices are fair/low as compared to other area vets. We highly recommend him.

Dr. Zwart is Amazing. Move to Ithaca 2 years ago, have interviewed 4 other vets, and have been to one other in the area. Dr. Zwart is leaps and bounds better than the rest. He will not add or charge you for anything you do not need like other vets do.

Dr. Zwart has taken care of our animals for close to 30 years now and is the best and most reasonably priced around the area. He has fixed several broken legs on a couple of our dogs and both dogs lived long lives.
