Dr. Baxendell and Dr. Dart are the best of the best. Not only are they intelligent and good at what they do but they show compassion to animals and humans! We recently lost our White Lab, Kip, and Dr. Baxendell was with us every step of the way helping us to make the tough decision that it was his time and that it was in his best interest to say goodbye. After all was said and done Groton City even donated to a local animal rescue in his memory. We also had an issue with one of our cats recently and it took me to Cornell in the middle of the night. I kept saying "I need Dr. Baxendell." They go above and beyond for their patients. We wouldnt trust our pets with anyone else and you shouldnt either!

Ive been a fan of Groton City Animal Hospital for over a decade! Drs. Baxendell and Dart are the best and most caring veterinarians Ive ever met! Countless times they have gone above and beyond their humble pay grade to do what was best for their patients (and their owners). The staff at GCAH is equally amazing! I cannot say enough positive things....everyone is entitled to their own opinion and your experience may be unique, but if you cant give GCAH 5 stars then you need to check yourself...you wont find better veterinary care!

We travel an hour in each direction to bring my Alpacas to Groton City animal hospital and would travel even further if we needed to. Finding vets that routinely treat Alpacas is difficult and finding exceptional vets is rare. We cant say enough about how truly gifted and compassionate doctors Kathy and Katherine and their staff are. We absolutely recommend this practice to anyone who loves their animals! The vets, techs, and office staff always provide excellent care and service. Theyre understanding, flexible, and compassionate. My horse has been very healthy and have only needed them a couple of times for emergences and they have always come in a reasonable amount of time. This is a plus as there are not many vets out there willing to work on horses. Thank you for your service.

A very friendly place to take your pets for great maintenance and care. Getting an appointment is quick and easy. The staff is always ready to answer all your questions. They take whatever time is needed to complete your visit. You never feel rushed to finish your visit. If you want good friendly service this is the place to take your pets.
