I must admit I have a huge fear, and based on past experience a disdain for dentists. After waking up with a horrible pain in my tooth and jaw I had no choice but to find a dentist and get my tooth looked at. Searching through my dental insurance carrier listing I found Sachem Dental Group. I made a generic appointment. I was seen the same day because of the amount of pain I was in. I was assigned to Dr. Mazzola. Right off the bat I told him how upset and afraid I was upon entering his exam room.Waiting for the sneers and jeers I was surprised at how patient and understanding he was. Long story short a root canal was ordered which all but pushed me over the line. I wish I could recall the name of the dentist who performed the root canal, he as well was patient, gentile, and professional even knowing I was petrified. Even after the follow up today to get my temp crown put on Dr. Mazzola was friendly, punctual, professional and patient. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Mazzola, or the front office staff. Everyone understood my fears and was accommodating. In regards to this office, I have officially overcome my deep rooted fear of the dentist. EXCELLENT!!! I have already recommended them to a co-worker who is as afraid as I am, and will recommend them to everyone!!! Thank you!!

I dont usually take time to comment on this stuff but I figured I would. I had a wisdom tooth pulled today. Nothing crazy. Had some more bleeding than usual. Once I realized it was way too much I called up the office and they got me back on. Dr. Ramiz Chaudhry was the dr that saw me today. He was probably the best dentist i ever went to. He made me feel comfortable and at ease, even when I came back. He explained to me what was going on and fixed me up. He even called me at 730pm before he left for the night to make sure the bleeding stopped. In my eyes, thats a dr that cares and follows through. Thank you

They always collect every cent you owe when you left your appointment. We got a bill about a month and a half later tried to pay it at another office but they said they couldnt take the payment . Paid it about three weeks later,. Hit a new statement with a late fee on it after paying the original zzz they have now turned us over for collection of a $35 late fee! Wth! Never even made contact with us weve been clients for over 15 years were done...going somewhere else!!!!!

They are the biggest rip offs, dont go there! Have talked to many in the area and they also have said they are horrible and will never go back.
