Ive been going to Dr. Travis for over 20 years and my mom has since he took over the practice many years ago. He is a very kind and respectful man with more knowledge and insight about animals than any other veterinarian that Ive met (and there have been many since I moved several times and owned many pets and rescues over the years.) His prices are very reasonable and he never tries to up-sale services like many vets do. His daughter is also a veterinarian here and very kind and knowledgeable as well. This is hands down the best veterinary practice on Long Island.

Just brought our dog Molly to see Dr. Lyndsey Travis. What a wonderful, caring person. She took our appt at last minutes notice at 715pm and helped our dog. She was very friendly, patient, and knowledgable regarding our dogs ailments. After meeting this kind woman, all my animals will be in the future going there and nowhere else. Great Place. Wonderful establishment. The veterinarians are compassionate, caring and knowledgeable. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my animals. Dr. Travis is terrific and his daughter is following him in his footsteps. They are price conscious in their treatments and wont overwhelm you with unnecessary tests. I travel quite a distance because they are worth it.

Known Hank and the team for many many years, theyve seen very litter and every dog over 20 plus years - they represent the true country vet. Compassionate, understanding and "bedside" manner to explain whats going on in language you can understand; and always try to put the needs of the animal first - rather than the owner !

We bring all our animals there and are very happy with them. Dr. Travis explains everything in detail and doesnt beat around the bush. The care they give our pets has been excellent. Remember to bring a checkbook since they do not take credit cards.
