I wish I could give separate reviews for the exam and the optical dispensary. The dr and all the staff, especially the receptionists at front desk were extremely accomodating and courteous, which I think is very important, and can make or break a client/patients opinion of an experience. The doctor was thorough and my kids received their exams and we were told to go into the next room to pick out frames and get our prescription for glasses. It was 4:45pm. As all the staff were busy, we sat down to wait. One staff member was chatting incessantly with a customer after he was finished picking up his frames, but otherwise the others were actively assisting customers. After about 5 minutes of waiting, I noticed that one of the opticians was finished helping his customer and he got up to go to the front desk for something (looking very busy). He looked up and asked, "Are you here to pick up a prescription?" I said, "We just saw the doctor, we need to pick out frames". He said, "Well we close at 5pm, I dont think youre going to have time." and then.....HE WALKED AWAY. So me, being the patient person I am, just assumed he was going to assist us further in some way, I couldnt imagine that he would just walk away with nothing more to say. So a few minutes later, another optician came to the desk to do something and asked if we were there to pick up a prescription and the same conversation played out, but she was able to officially shut me down with, "We will be open late tomorrow". Well wouldnt that be fantastic if that worked for me? I would never have made the appointment at 4pm if I knew that we would be unable to select and order frames. Id like to believe I am a reasonable person, (then again, Ive heard unreasonable people say these very words :S ) and I really believe that had their responses been different, I would have had a more, "well doesnt this suck? I guess Ill just have to come back" attitude. The dismissive, unapologetic attitude that accompanied both interactions was appalling. I didnt engage in any back and forth with any of the staff about it, I mean what would be the point? I went back into the receptionist area and replayed what just happened. They were shocked. Apparently, the dispensary is supposed to remain open until the doctors are finished with patients....sounds logical. Sadly, that is not what happened. There was no supervisor or manager to speak to at the time of my visit, so my complaint went unheard on a managerial level. The girls at the desk were so understanding and were as appalled as I was but they were equally as powerless as I to accomplish anything. Their pleasant demeanor and awesome listening skills kicked A$$! I went back to the male optician and asked for my prescriptions. He magically produced them in less than 30 seconds, I thanked him, and we were gone, never to return.

My latest phone call to get my eyeglass prescription was met with the very rude Laura. I listened to her very curt customer voice and decided her nasty tone warranted this post. She didnt seem to listen to my request just wanted to make me feel inadequate in my understanding of what she was attempting to do. She needs to learn how to speak to customer if she plans on being employing the service industry. Oh by the way I wont be buying my glasses or any of my familys glasses at this establishment. Nice works for me. "Your expired.......like my prescription

they dont stand behind there mistakes. they issued a incorrect prescription for my glasses had it filled, result blurred glasses. there answer well its only off a little and it shouldnt be that bad. the store that made them should redo them out of customer service..even if it wasnt the stores fault..avoid this practice it cost me a pair of glasses that are no good and they dont care.

The doctors are great. This review isnt about them. This review is about the eyewear store, which is atrociously bad. Poor service and inept staff. They are happy to stand around in the back and chat while there are waiting patients/customers in front. Theyll ignore you while you stand in front of the counter and barely make an effort to even give the appearance of caring.

Ive always had an excellent experience here on both the medical side and the optician shop side. They have higher end glasses, if you want a cheap pair go to Costco, but if you want a nice quality pair of glasses - this is the place to come.
