This is a beautiful office. With that being said I felt that I was tricked into coming in. When I made my appt I asked if my insurance was taken and I was told yes. (I have 1199) When I make it to the office I am greeted and given a tour. As this tour is happening in my mind I am thinking, "I just want my teeth cleaned". I couldnt see why all of these extras were taking place. (phenomenal office) After the tour I was thinking this place seems a bit too fancy to take my insurance. so again, I asked the receptionist if my insurance was taken and she told me, "someone will be with you shortly to go over that". I was skeptical because in the paperwork that I was filling out it said something along the lines of "most of our patients are self pay". After filling out the paperwork the doctor comes in to meet me with the secretary. And Im told that I would have to pay mostly out of pocket because my insurance only paid about $14 for oral screening and $30 for xrays. This is something that should have been mentioned to me on the phone before scheduling my appt. I get that they are trying to get business but you also have to thoroughly explain this before someone comes in. It was a complete waste of my time and theirs. I also received a gift bag with a tumbler which was nice but I ultimately just wanted my teeth cleaning. I also left out with the secretary saying "Sorry that it didnt work out". Way to make matters worse. But if this is a place that you could afford on your own, it seems like they go above and beyond for their patients.

It is always a pleasure to visit Greater Long Island Dental. I have been a patient for over 20 years and the specialized, caring service has never changed. The entire staff are always pleasant and make you feel comfortable. They are on the cutting edge of medical dentistry. I recently referred my niece for a dental emergency and although she was not a current patient and had no dental insurance they treated her immediately and at minimal cost - she commented afterwards "they treated me so special." This is truly an exceptional practice. My Dentist, Dr. Woltman, is also exceptional and I would trust him in all matters. I recently completed treatment with Invisalign and I would highly recommend Greater Long Island Dental for this procedure - it was relatively easy, was exactly as predicted and the results were amazing.The hygienists are all outstanding and I would also highly recommend any of them. Rachel Ferlazzo is a very special young lady who is an extremely knowledgeable and professional hygienist - it is a privilege to be treated by her. The office staff understands customer service and always makes you feel like family. This dental office should be the model for all medical practices.

This dentist office is amazing. Its that simple. However for those who want to hear more, I will explain. I had a terrible dentist growing up, and only realized it when I changed over to this office. Most people (who like their dentist) would say they have a great "dentist" - singular. Whereas this office has multiple dentists and hygienists that not only get the job done but get it done efficiently, painlessly, and professionally. With multiple dentists it makes it easier to schedule an appointment because youre not limited to one schedule. That may make some people nervous and wonder will the experience still be personal and I can tell you that no matter who you see, the entire staff makes you feel welcome, comfortable, and familiar. This place has the best team of dentist professionals AND staff I have ever known in ANY doctors office, not just based on my past dentist office experience. I recommend them to everyone I know and not just because theres a $50 Thanks for the Referral gift card in it for me. I truly believe this place is friendly while professional, and efficient - which for me is very important in a doctors office. Love this place!

I wish my review could be as good as the others I just read. I went to Greater Long Island Dental 2 times and each time was disappointed. The first time was for a consultation and although everyone was extremely nice and professional I was shocked by the cost. The 2nd time was for actual work. I was told I was coming for only a $380 filling and that was it. However, after I got seated in the chair, I was told that work needed to be done on 2 teeth and before I knew it, a needle was coming towards my mouth. There was no advance notice, and nothing to numb the discomfort. Then, they attempted to put an oversized piece of plastic in my mouth which makes you feel like youre choking. In addition, out of the corner of my eye, I could see Dr. Rogers leg shaking up and down like he was either in a rush or was agitated. And, finally, after the entire right side of my face is numb and he fills my tooth, he asks me how does it feel? Hello! After 2 shots I cant feel a thing; how am I suppose to tell you how it feels?! I would not recommend them at all.

I have been a loyal patient to Greater Long Island Dental for over 15 years, and cannot recall one instance where I have left this office with anything but a smile (A smile I credit Greater Long Island Dental with). The staff is attentive and always happy to greet me whenever I come in for an appointment, and although they have never made me wait more then 5 minutes to be seen, I really wouldnt have minded... they have HGTV playing, snacks, drinks ... plenty to occupy me. As for the quality of work, 5 STAR, I have had wisdom teeth out, root canal, maybe a few cavities, and several broken teeth that have been bonded and/or capped (front teeth) and to this day, unless I point out the work, you cannot tell the difference between my real teeth and the fake. Shout out to Christine! Always keeping on top of my scheduled cleanings and making sure my visits to the dentist are never stressful or inconvenient. Love the people, love the place, Highly recommended.

I have been a patient of Greater Long Island Dental for years and love the doctors, the staff and the cleanliness of the office. It is a total professional experience. They treat all their patients with upmost respect and care. I have never had a bad experience. The doctors respect your time as a patient and never keep you waiting like most practices. My doctor, James M.Woltmann D.M.D. has excelled in his field as a dentist. His incredible state of the art computerized technology has helped to minimize visits on crowns down to one visit. There is no middle man, such as a laboratory. He creates the crown using a computer with his skills and the crown feels like it has been in your mouth forever. The hygienists are also professionals who care about your dental health. I always feel and know the job they have done is superb! I have always been anxious about going to the dentist and have never felt comfortable in a dental office. From the moment I called Greater Long Island Dental I was impressed with their caring and welcoming tone. Today, when I arrived at the office I was greeted with a cheerful and professional welcome. I was given a tour and was given the opportunity to meet the team members (who also greeted me with genuine professionalism). I was pleased with the atmosphere and cleanliness of the office and noticed their detail to keeping everything sterile. Every person I came into contact with treated me with care and concern. It was so comforting! The dentist and the entire team went over their thoughts in a clear manner and gave me so much time ( it never felt rushed). I was lastly impressed by how private they made taking care of the cost and making a follow up appointment. I highly recommend this office and I cant wait to bring my husband
