Terrible experience. Had gone to Dr Bowden in the past for small skin tag removal. He used a scalpel to remove the tags close to skin with no bleeding . It was great. Then I scheduled another appt and he wasnt in that day a gal dtr did the removal with scissors and left scabs and marks. Terrible job. Today some many yrs later I schedule another appt with Dr Bowden. Appt was at 330. The dtr saw me at 410pm. Said he couldnt remove the skin tags with scapel that they were too small. He said his records show he removed them with scissors in the past. . Im 5000% sure he didnt . I loved his prior work and hated that another dtr had to do them last time. Told him last time I saw a woman in his place because he called out. Dtr was nice but no way I would have anyone remove them with scissors. I even asked his fill in dtr to remove with scalpel and she replied she doesnt use that . I told her I come to him because he doesnt cut them and now this. Unbelievable. It is the only place I have ever had tags removed.. in addition they charged me 45. For NOTHING. they did nothing. The gal at the desk for check out had an attitude. The gal who brought me in complained she was tired and was chewing gum like a cow. Bad experience. Id never go there ever again. In addition they have a policy to leave your Credit card on file incase your insurance doesnt pay them.. I said No way to that. Never heard of anything so insane to give office free rein to charge a card. Go somewhere else.

My daughter went to crystal run and referred to this office for what seemed like an unexplained rash. Both Urgent Care doctors and Dermatologist on call did not know what was going on. This is on a Friday and my 8 year old daughter suffered with pain, trouble walking, and itchiness, all weekend waiting to see this office on Monday morning hopefully as an emergency. My husband brought her early in the morning and she was refused to be seen, They said maybe Thursday and it wasnt until I begged and pleaded for compassion that they said the next day and still refused her. She went to Crystal Run Healthcare and a wonderful dermatologist saw her and diagnosed her with Vasiculitis which a VERY BIG PROBLEM THAT CAN CAUSE EVEN DEATH. Honestly, I never saw any doctor so the doctors maybe great but god forbid you have an emergency, the reception and front desk WILL DENY YOU unless some miracle comes up that someone cancels, even a child, even in pain. THEY DONT CARE! I even cried and they still refused. ITS SOOOOO WRONG!

I have been going to Dermatology Associates for over 7 years. From day one, their staff made me feel comfortable and not rushed. Magda DeSimone has been a wonderful provider. She explains everything, provides thorough exams, appropriate follow-up, and she is also a terrific listener. She taught me to trust my instincts. I have also been under the care of Dr. Desciak - whose experience, care, and approach I sincerely appreciate. He took his time and made me feel that I was in very capable hands. I highly recommend this office.
