Very disappointed. Yes they have a nice selection of glasses and thats the only good thing I can say about them. The guy that helps you find the right pair of glasses to buy spends way to much time pushing products on you. Well I paid over $900 after my insurance and thinking okay thats for 2 pairs of glasses and a year supply of contacts. Then I come to find out on the day I went back to pick up the glasses and contacts that the contacts werent even included in the price then he tried to tell me that I couldnt make up my mind about the contacts and that was why, so not true that was the main reason why I went I was using my last pair. If I was so undecided about the contacts then why did I get fitted for them? Its not like the frames were designer they are plastic and $350 for progressive lenses and $25 for bifocals after insurance gee can we guess which one I would have picked if I was told exactly how much they would have cost me, not the progressive. He told me they are a little more expensive for progressive. Thats not a little. I will never step foot in that place ever again. So please if you choose to go there make sure they itemize everything before you commit to anything.

I love this store. The owner is very nice and is always friendly and helpful. The sales staff is knowledgeable and are great at choosing the right frames that look good on you. The exams are quick and accurate without the wait times you get at Wal-Mart Vision Center. However, the secretary is one of the nastiest, rudest people Ive ever encountered. You cant miss this heifer; shes the big fat lady with the scowl behind the desk. Need to confirm what time your appointment is? Prepare for a long, drawn out sarcastic *SIGH* as you force her to grab the book. Are you early for your appointment? *UGH* JUST GO SIT DOWN OVER THERE. *POINTS AT CHAIR* Are you late for your appointment? *UGH* I DONT KNOW IF WE WILL BE ABLE TO DO IT, I JUST DONT KNOW. YOU CANNOT COME LATE!!! (The store is empty lady! Relax...) Everything that comes out of this ladies mouth is just rude. You know that type of person whos just fat, sweaty and disgusting and they hate everybody around them because they actually hate themselves? This is the Plaza Optical secretary.

I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about this establishment. Its a gem in an unexpected plaza in Monroe, but the professionalism and care they take to fit you in the right pair of frames was outstanding! I had gone to 2 other places across the river where I live (Peekskill and JV - boooo!) and decided I needed someone who really could fit my petite face with the right size frames! Marissa and Paul were in a league of their own, although the whole staff was amazingly sweet and supportive, giving their friendly 2 cents when sought out! I will never go to another place for an exam or set of frames - and the special coating (cristal?) was worth every penny - now you can see all of the hard work to the pretty eye makeup that I put on crystal clear! Thank you Plaza Optical, you are awesome and I will be back in 2 years :)

Very professional service from the receptionist to the eye doctor to the owner. I have been coming here for 10 years and they really help pick out the right frames, fit your glasses, service them if needed, etc. To the person commenting about the rude receptionist..she is a very kind person. Maybe you were there on a bad day. To blanket fat sweaty people" as lazy and hates themselves is degrading in general. To the person complaining that they charge more than Walmart...EVERBODY charges more than Walmart. Be prepared to spend $400 - $500 for top quality frames and Crizal lenses. They will be with you for years. Im pretty sure they have a better selection of quality frames than Walmart. If you want to support Chinese manufacturers and slave labor (American and abroad), keep shopping at Walmart!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY EXPERIENCE!!! When I arrived, I was greeted by the welcoming staff. My exam was quick and thorough. I was a little apprehensive about picking out lenses. Normally when you go to get glasses, they point you over to the displays with no help whatsoever. NOT HERE!!!! Eileen walked me through every step of the way. I felt like I had one of my girlfriends there helping me. You know.. The friend that will tell you when you have found the PERFECT pair, but will also let you know, maybe you should take a look at these instead of those. Needless to say, I left knowing I have found the perfect pair of glasses. AND I even get to pick them up on the same day. Eileen, you truly are a gem!! Thank you for making my experience so pleasant!!

I have to say that my experience with Plaza while starting off as a one star rose to a five star. I made the error not not noticing that all the frames had prices on them (make sure that you look for this as will save you and Plaza a lot of time) and picked out a pair of frames that was more than I wished to spend. When I brought this up to them I was shown a frame that I liked even more and was 200.00 lower in price. The turn around time to receive my glasses was under a week and they fit and work quite well. I was replacing a set of glasses I recently got elsewhere that I was not happy with. I will be taking my daughter there this month to get fitted for a pair of glasses as well.

I cannot believe I waited so long to visit Plaza Optical, the staff is wonderful and the show cases are very clean. Dr. Miller is warm and friendly and made me feel very comfortable, even when I couldnt read what was on the board. I was able to ask all of my silly questions and received honest answers. Marissa is INCREDIBLE when it comes to fitting fames to a face. The frames she chose for me are the perfect shape and color. As soon as I put them on I knew I NEEDED them. My lenses were cut and placed in around 15 minutes and my frames were adjusted. I could not have dreamed up an quicker or easier experience. Thank you Plaza Optical!

SUPERB!!!!!!!!! My family and I have been customers of Plaza Optical for over 20 years. The staff is courteous and professional and most have been there for many years.. The owners are extemley experienced and responsive. Their selection is outstanding and they have stylish selections in all price ranges. Great care if taken to ensure proper fit and accuracy of prescription. Each patient gets the time needed to be sure that they get the best glasses or lenses for their situation. In the rare instance of a problem no matter the degree, prompt attention is given for a quick and successful resolution.

My entire family loves Plaza Optical. Every time we go there, we are met with friendliness and expertise. My daughter and I are always impressed with the service we receive when getting our eye exams and picking out frames. The staff will go to any length to ensure that you are completely happy with your frames and will never rush you to make a decision. They have a great selection of frames, and glasses are usually ready within one or two days. Plaza Optical is a great place to go for exams and frames, with friendly, professional staff, a wide choice of frames, and timely service.
