Very reasonable for a private practice with boutique touch. Almost compares to HSNY in initial visit price. Its a bargain. Been a client since 1999, after my foster dog was attacked in the dog run. Switch all my animals from St. MARKS which was 2 buildings away. Dr. M uses part holistic & part western while using diagnostics ever since I saw him, he was able to diagnose a lot of foster dogs with random chronic conditions without always resorting to medications, but a combination of herbs, etc. that they are just starting to talk about today like tumeric. Everyone there is wonderful, patient & knowledgeable. Dr. M might seem gruff, but thats just him being direct & honest. He needs to do his job, as with people some dogs have a low threshold for pain or cry easily. Hes not trying to hurt a dog, just assess as much as possible with out taking x-rays, or further measures that might not be necessary. Some dogs need to be put under for many procedures, it is risky the older they are. Hes doing his job, & trying to be gentle. I moved, & Ive been to the vets in my neighborhood, but I prefer to trek there. Have him assess my dogs, & any dog I consider to adopt for temperament. Hes always right. I highly recommend him and all of his staff. They are not there for a paycheck, which is rare. They do care.

These guys are phenomenal. I cant even begin to tell the amazing experience Im still currently having. My dog got hit by a car and it caused a couple of complications. One of them was that she needed a daily bandage change, these guys not only changed it for me every day, they kept her for me during the day, watched over it, cleaned it out, rebandaged it (sugar coated it too) and did it all for such a ridiculously cheap price that I dont even want to post it because they might get mad at me, lol. When I would pick her up after work they would have stories to tell me about the day with her (they were joyous when they learned she could sing). This whole experience was such a nightmare but could have been so much worse. Oh and get this, when the injury first occured they thought it would take 6 months to heal, its been a little over one month and its mostly healed, and were onto the phyical therapy part. Both Dr. Moskovitch and Dr.Emmett have been fantastic, and Nina at the front desk has been so helpful. I really cant say enough nice things about them. Go there immediately!

I am a first time dog owner. I got a rescue (Boe) from a great organization that made sure my dog was vaccinated and neutered, but I wanted to have him checked out anyway and establish a relationship with a local vet. The place is clean and well run, and the staff here are superbe. Nina at the reception desk was super nice and gave me a few tips while we waited for the doctor. Before I left, she gave me her personal number and told that I should absolutely call her for anything--especially if I thought I had an emergency situation. Dr. Moscovich was great with Boe--gentle and kind. Hes a funny guy and really friendly-- plus he had tonnes of good advice on how to work with a dog. He closely reviewed Boes documents, did a thorough physical exam, chatted me up plenty, and threw in a whole bunch of jokes and personal stories about his own dogs. Definitely going back. These guys care, and I trust them.

GREAT VET! I recently came to the Village Veterinarian after my cat got into some mouse poison. Needless to say I was frantic and rushed to the nearest hospital. Dr. Christina Colon (apparently new to the practice) was seeing patients and quickly cleared her schedule for my cat. Dr. Colon was not only extremely patient with me and my cat, but she also took the time to clearly explain what she planned on doing, possible complications and long term treatment (3 weeks of meds). She was calm and collected despite my crazed and worried disposition, and quickly treated my cat. Overall Dr. Colon and the staff were remarkable and very reasonably priced. I will continue to bring my pets to Dr. Colon!

This vet is a nice neighborhood place, where most of the patients seem to know the staff and doctors and there is a lot of trust and satisfied service. I had originally taken my cat to St Marks Veterinary nearby but after paying $400 for a routine checkup, came here with my cat. I find the doctor very direct, without any BS , which I appreciate very much. They tell the truth about your animals situation, even describing which treatments are optional. My cat was very comfortable with the doctors examination and I found that they gave exceptional care. This facility (a new location on St. Marks) is nice and I plan to continue bringing my pet here indefinately.

I hate to say this but the staff arent very helpful, at least for a new dog owner like myself. I ask, "Should I get pet insurance?", and the response was "Maybe". Ok, fair enough. I ask "What are the different pet insurance plans? Which ones do you accept?" and get "You should do your research." Ok. So maybe insurance isnt their expertise. But then I ask about heartworm pills. "Theyre pretty much all the same." After I dig some more, they eventually suggest finding a pill that covers ticks and fleas but neglected to tell me that I need an RX to order online... Very helpful.

Dr, Moscovich was rude and unprofessional. I went in for a visit with my dog in pain in the hips. During the physical he was a little to ruff and made my dog yelp several times over. After the 4th yelp from my dog in pain, I asked if he could be more gentle. His response was "Maybe you should go see someone else" I have had my dog for 8 years and been a life time dog owner and never met a vet more unprofessional than Dr. Moscovich. There are plenty of great vets out there that are much more professional.

A truly wonderful veterinarian. I called around to about 5 vets to look who was the cheapest for a mandatory pre-flight checkup for y Great Dane and they were by far. Thinking I would get what I paid for, I was shocked to have received amazing customer service. Their assistants in the front are some of the best anyone can ask for. In the end, knowing I was a student, they gave me a little discount without even telling me. Dr. Moscowitz is a wonderful Vet.

I have been taking my dog to Dr. Marder for a year now. He is friendly, understanding, and thorough in his care for animals. I highly recommend him. From the receptionists to the vet techs the staff here is wonderful. They remember my dog and I everytime we have an appointment. They truly care about the wellbeing of their furry patients and assist in all ways to keeping them healthy.
