The absolute worst if you have an urgent medical emergency. I have never been INSULTED by a doctor in my life before coming here. I went here on Sunday April 19th, 2015 with a severe headache and nausea that was making me cry it was so bad, as I had no relief for 12 hours on Sunday and several hours the night before. I had been experiencing this discomfort for 12 hours straight, and came here when it was clear my ibuprofen and Excedrin migraine medicine was NOT kicking in. I couldnt even fill out the waiting room paperwork - my mother had to do this for me as my nausea and head pain was THAT extreme. When I got into the office, the nurse told me that someone else had been there earlier in the day with the same symptoms and he was "on the floor." When the "doctor" came in he asked me what I had taken, I told him about the ibuprofen, the Excedrin, and how they were not helping after hours of taking them. He immediately told me there had to be something "more to it" than just nausea and head pain, since I was crying. And when I said I was crying because of the severity of the discomfort, he questioned why I didnt come sooner than after being awake with this pain for 12 hours. I told him I thought it was a bad migraine and I was waiting for the medicine to kick in - it is not my usual MO to go to urgent care or an ER with a migraine, thats a little much! Plus, I had never had a migraine and NOT had Excedrin take the pain and discomfort away. He asked to speak to my mother, who was sitting in the waiting room, who had driven me there because I was so nauseous. He proceeded to tell her he thought it was a mental issue or something else. I am a 37-yr-old woman. The more he questioned my integrity, the more agitated I became because I wanted my pain and suffering to be taken seriously and eliminated. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life. My nausea had been made worse by the car ride and now he was not only insulting me as a patient but he basically refused to treat me. I was so agitated by his lack of bedside or any manner that I became weak, since my severe headache and nausea was made worse by the heat in the office, and the nurses had to help me to my mothers car. From there, my mother drove me to the emergency room, where I vomited in the car on the way there and in the waiting room and the hospital admitted me immediately for violent vomiting and took bloodwork, hooked me up to fluids and determined I had a severe virus. Once they gave me Zofran, an anti-nausea medicine, I immediately felt normal. I was on this medicine at home for the next 4 days. MEDICENTER IS A JOKE AND A DISGRACE TO URGENT CARE.

Went there today (6-3-13). There was only 1 person in the waiting room, however I waited over an hour & then finally left when they told me another 20 minutes or so... Dont go at lunch time, because they dont have Doctors onsite then, & thus youll have to wait for them to finish lunch. I went to a Dr.s office (Dr. Boughal) in Northport, where they fit me right in, took care of me (I had acute Bronchitis) right away. I will never go back to this Medi-Center again, as Ive been there before & always had to wait over an hour... regardless of whether there are other patients or not. I recommend trying another medicenter or run into town for a local Dr. Much nicer & much more professional.

Really cannot believe that the attitude people work there was so bad, I called my insurance company and they said my insurance could totally cover that. But the FAT girl work there did not work with me and just let me do by myself. REALLY? F..King PEOPLE!

Worst place ever, only go if you want to deal with people who hate there life behind the front desk. Rude and inconsiderate, when you work at a place like this you should care about the people coming through the front door, not try to rush them out

My insurance company said my insurance totally covers my medical fee, but they refused my claim and they would not work with me and just said get lost, the worst clinic I have ever ever been before!

Everyone at the MediCenter is really nice to us. Weve made them our primary care facility! I know quite a few people whose experience with the Northport MediCenter have been great, too!

95$ for less than 2 minutes in the room with sarcastic comment about not having cpverage and given medicine that didnt work. Nurses seem to know more than the mumbling jerk of a doctor

Ive been to this location too in addition to the Huntington Station location and the service was excellent. We got right in and I feel very confident we got the best fast service.
