Im not one to write reviews, but my experience was so horrible I felt obligated to share. As a new patient I was filling out my paperwork in the waiting area when an elderly gentleman with a cane walked in. He had brought his mother-in-laws fake teeth/mouth piece in because they split in half when she fell from a heart attack. She could not go to the dentist herself because she was in the hospital but she could not eat anything in the hospital because she didnt have her teeth. He unfolded the napkin he had been carrying with her broken mouth piece and asked if they could just glue the two pieces back together temporarily. The Dentist came out and refused to help stating that the patient had to be present. I understand this under normal circumstances but not for an elderly woman stuck in a hospital who now cant eat. To make matters worse, the receptionist insulted the old man by jesting that she would be nervous to be on the road with that guy. My guess is that he didnt want to be on the road but felt obligated to go for his mother-in-law. Its not that I had a terrible dental experience. I was asked many times if I wanted anything more than a routine check-up and it was clear that they just wanted my money. However, if it was just that they acted like money-hungry people I would not have written a review. I was disturbed by their lack of care or compassion. I want a dentist who cares about their elderly patient whose in the hospital and cant eat.

Ive been to this Dental office around 5 or 6 times since the beginning of November - I avoided the dentist for over 5 years due to the pain/cost/anxiety associated with dental procedures - finally, I had 3 teeth that were causing me to be in complete misery so I had to bite the bullet and go to the dentist. I am SO thrilled that I chose Aspen Dental based on the proximity to my house. Ive had many procedures done now from an exam, extraction (wisdom tooth), root canal (2), and crown (1, working on my 2nd) - I still have a lot left to be done but I am so pleased that Im doing this as Aspen Dental. All of the procedures have been explained to me so well by Dr. Agadi and two dental assistants (Svitlana and Margarita). During each experience Ive received the best care and attention - this has reduced my concern and fear of dentist and dentistry in general, I actually look forward to no longer being in pain and being able to go to the dentist for cleanings and exams each year as you should! Lisa and Moni in the office have been so patient and kind with me, explaining the details of the costs associated with the work Ive been receiving. I was so concerned about "going broke on my teeth" but Lisa and Moni have worked diligently to find a way to make this work. I am so grateful for that. I would recommend Aspen Dental (especially the Gates office) to anyone - and I have already!

I went in for a filling. Noticed pain after numbness went away on the tooth that was drilled in. Waited a week to schedule an appointment thinking that it would heal. Once at the office was told that it might need a cap and I should wait a week for more to heal by head Dr. and she would call after reviewing rest of x-rays (situation). I needed to follow up/call in after another week to set up follow up appointment, where another Dr. informed me I do need a cap to stop the pain. Then was informed that I would need to pay $500 to fix the tooth that was worked on for filling. Informed them that I was not going to pay for their mistake, ESPECIALLY for a Dr. that was FIRED due to incompetence A WEEK AFTER working on my mouth. I informed them that I have been very patient and they need to fix what they broke. Said that it was not their fault but was coincidence that tooth that was worked on is now hurting and that it was that way for year, even though it never hurt.

Experience was fine until the hygenist came in to measure for peridontal disease. She jammed the probe so far into my gums that it still hurt several hours later and got significantly different readings than I had ever had before. I came to Aspen to have my teeth cleaned, I have always taken care of my teeth and had them cleaned only 8 months prior. I have just moved to this area, so didnt have a dentist. With such high "numbers" the hygenist recommended deep cleaning which I refused. Couldnt believe my numbers could have changed so much is such a short time. Refused treatment. Felt like I was being ripped off. Just because we are old, doesnt mean we cant think for ourselves and shame on you for taking advantage of the elderly.

Today 9 Nov 2012, I went to Aspen Dental hell bend on having a extraction instead of a root canal. The first dentist I was recommended a root canal instead of a extraction. I was very hesitant about having a root canal and the pain associated with it. Dr Agadi was very patient with me and telling me exactly what she would be doing. I must say I was scared for nothing. My 1st experience at having a root canal was a huge and very positive experience. I recommend Dr Agadi, this office and the staff. They were very professional and made this experience at the dentist office enjoyable. Thanks again Dr Agadi and staff. I rate this office visit a 3 on a 0-3 scale with 0 being low and 3 being high

Called and made an appointment to get a whole oral exam. Everyone was so nice from the moment i came in until I left. After the doctor explained everything that needed to be fixed in detail, he made sure i understood what he was talking about by asking me "did everything I say make sense?". I told him yes and he shook my hand and said hope to see you soon. After the exam i sat with a financial consultant and went over my care plan in detail so i knew exactly what i needed to pay before scheduling my next appointment. For someone whos very afraid of the dentist. I well definitely be going back to aspen and continuing my oral care plan.

I have been going to this Aspen Dental location for several years now with my family. Have always had good service and treated with respect. I have always received the cost upfront of whatever amount the insurance wont pay so things have always been transparent with my billing. Once, they made a mistake with the amount not covered through my insurance for a root canal and they honored the agreement and waived the almost 1,000 fee. They used to have a cosmetic dentist who did an awesome job with my chipped front teeth. She is gone so I have no idea how good is the replacement. So far we have been very satisfied - Great place-good work!

Rose is a very friendly Dental Assistance and was the first person that I saw when I began my long and complicated dental work at Aspen Dental in Gates, NY. She makes me feel very comfortable in the chair and she doubles check the reason why I’m seeing the dentist today. That tells me that she cares about her patients and their well-being. She is very professional and she also educate me about my dental health and how can stay healthy. I am very happy and satisfied with the care that I received and continue to receive from Rose, she is a great Dental Assistant.
