I dont know what clinic the previous reviewers visited. Ive been going to this place off and on for 15 years (I live in the city and go when I am upstate). There has NEVER been a doctor with a hairy chest and gold chains, and Ive been through all of them, male and female. Im sorry the previous reviewer had a bad experience with the front desk staff. I have sometimes walked and and there was nobody there, but its only for a minute, and they have always been lovely to me. I suspect that this is a review for a different clinic as the website attached is willownds, which is not South Peak at all. Dr Leighton is a caring veterinarian who has an awesome bedside manner and recommends only the best for your pet, big or small. Highly recommended.

These people wanted $350 to groom my cat, they wanted to do bloodwork and sedate them, sedation is not good for an animal, not good for people, and unnecessary to groom a cat unless it has serious behavioral problems. the staff was rude and disregarded my concern for my cat to be prodded and sedated when I was only asking about grooming. This kind of operation is what crooked surgeons call CFB, cut for bucks, they are using their position of authority to convince people to pay for needless services. Crooks

Ive been taking my cats here for 18 months now and could not be happier with the level of care this clinic provides. Ive seen both Dr. Ellman and Dr. Winkler and love them both. Ive found the highest level of professional expertise and compassionate caring from both them and their staff. The clinic is clean, well maintained and well-run. Very highly recommended veterinary clinic.

Ive been going to south peak for years and have never had a problem they are the nicest and most professial vets around, Dr.Ellman is especially good and is the best doctor my pets have seen.

Incompetent, surly front desk staff straight out of the cast of "Mean Girls." Vet care is average at best. I found them to be dismissive and uncaring.
