Wilson Dental PC is a dental clinic located at 224 S Geddes St, Syracuse, NY 13204, USA. The clinic operates seven days a week from 8 AM to 7 PM and has a rating of 2.2.
One of the recurring themes in the reviews is the lack of professionalism and poor communication. Patients have reported being scheduled for procedures only to find out that the necessary medical staff were not available. This has led to significant delays and rescheduling, causing inconvenience and frustration for the patients.
The reviews also raise questions about the quality of dental care provided. Some patients felt that the dental procedures were not up to the mark, and there were instances where the clinic failed to deliver the expected standard of care.
The behavior of the staff, including the dentists and hygienists, has been another point of contention. Patients have described the staff as unprofessional and lacking in experience, particularly when dealing with pediatric cases.
The clinic's facility and equipment have also come under scrutiny. Patients have described the clinic as "sketchy" and the equipment as outdated. The overall atmosphere does not seem to inspire confidence in the quality of care one can expect to receive.
The reviews indicate operational challenges, such as delays in appointment times and lack of punctuality from the medical staff. One review mentioned that the doctor arrived late, causing the patient to wait for an extended period while being hooked to medical equipment.
Based on the reviews, it appears that Wilson Dental PC faces significant challenges in terms of customer satisfaction, quality of care, and operational efficiency. These are critical aspects that any medical facility should prioritize to build trust and a solid reputation.

Ok so Im going to go off on a long tangent because I have NEVER in my life dealt with such an unprofessional and just down right pathetic business/dentist office before IN MY LIFE!!!!!! Wilson Dental is an absolute joke and I will NEVER recommend or send my child to that pile of crap place EVER AGAIN!!!!! My daughter needed to have a root canal done that they insisted could be done by their dentist Dr. Yew and she requires being put under by general anesthesia. So after being told we had to get to their office ASAP not once, but TWICE in Syracuse because they needed this X-ray done on the tooth that they couldnt seem to get done right either time!! I expressed to them that we didnt live very close and that it was a bit for us to keep going out of our way because of their mess up but we still did what we had to do to make sure the procedure was done TODAY!!!!! Well we get everything underway and set for 4PM and mind you because of the anesthesia, My daughter had to be NPO (nothing to eat or drink) since midnight last night....so my husband and I take the day off because she cannot go to school to keep an eye on her. We get to Syracuse and sat in the waiting room for a little over an hour...then they call her name! We get up thinking we are headed back to see the anesthesiologist and have her put under to only find out that instead they needed to get ANOTHER X-RAY!!!! But this time it would determine whether or not the procedure could be done.....WHAT?! Not once was a single word said to me that this X-ray was the deciding factor!!!!! So Im obviously a little upset and told the guy that this is ridiculous!!! We do the X-ray and get told to go back and sit in the waiting room while Dr. Yew looks at it and determines whether or not they can do it. WELLLLLLLLL a few minutes later they come out and the guy just looks at me and I knew then that this wasnt getting done......so I had a few choice words to yell across the waiting room at this guy because my daughter has NOT EATEN OR DRANK anything but 2 popsicles ALL DAY and here it is 5PM!!!!! So My husband goes to talk to him to try and settle it down but then we were pulled into a room.....and this guy proceeds to tell me that theyve known since SATURDAY that the X-ray was needed and it may not happen. So at this point my blood is friggin boiling and my claws are out!!!!! I told the guy the least they couldve done was call me THIS MORNING to have us do the X-ray to know then whether or not the procedure was getting done instead of making my poor 8 year old daughter literally go ALL DAY WITH NOTHING TO EAT OR DRINK!!!!! And he then informs me that they didnt tell me because "they knew I would be upset." ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!! So instead these incompetent jerks made my daughter chance going all day with NOTHING instead of being decent human beings and having us come in earlier to do the X-ray and find out then it couldnt be done and then she could have ATE SOMETHING!!!!!! And the lack of communication in even letting us know that this was a possibility and not a definite procedure pisses me off!!!!! But more so the fact that I had to listen to my daughter beg me for something to eat or drink all day and keep explaining to her how she couldnt and how sorry I was, was literally for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!! Sorry for the extremely long rant but all I have to say is, if you can avoid sending your child/children to Wilson Dental in Syracuse then DO IT!!!!! That place is the biggest joke and I WILL BE in contact with the higher ups ASAP!!!!!!!

If there was an option for ZERO star, I would rate it zero. This place is the worst dental I have ever seen. My wife and I took our 2-yo daughter there for teeth cleaning. It was her second dental visit. The first time was 6 month ago in a different dental before we moved to Syracuse. She had some dark spots on her teeth at that time and our dentist said some kids tend to develop these more easily than others, and he did a really good job cleaning my daughters teeth. After we came to Syracuse those dark spots came back so we took her to this Wilson Dental, which accepts our dental insurance and claim that they accept children. That is the only reason why we picked this place and I regret it so much now. The place gave me a very bad first impression when we got there. It looked very sketchy from outside. And at the front desk, we were told that the hygienist scheduled for our appointment wasnt even there. I was given the option of making a new appointment, which would be very inconvenient for us, or checking if another hygienist was willing to take us. They did find one, but we had to wait for almost an hour past our appointment. Whats even worse, the hygienist and the doctor turned out to be really bad. We wouldnt have waited if we knew. After opening my daughters mouth and taking a glance the doctor and hygienist said those are stains. Then they started asking what her diet is like, what drinks we usually give to her. We gave them the best answer we could give, but they kept saying no no no no, it cant be this, you must have given her something that stains her teeth. It was very offensive already. Then they asked if we give her tea. We said no, because we dont even drink tea at home. Guess what they said? They said, are you sure??? The conversation went on for 10 minutes and they kept saying no to everything we said and insisted that we must have given her something like tea that stained her teeth. Finally they sat down and tried to clean our daughters teeth. The hygienist handed the tool to the doctor and said she does not know how to remove those "stains". And she turned to another staff there and said very loudly that she does not want to do this, this is going to be nightmare. Of course a 2-yo would cry very hard in this kind of operation but if they were experienced in treating child patients as they claimed they would know this and at least, would not say it is going to be a nightmare. My daughter did cry very hard. The doctor and the hygienist kept shouting loudly during the process, making it really look like a chaos. No way theyve had any experience on this before. The doctor did remove some stains and said its finished, although there was still some stains left. But we just wanted to get out of there. We would never go back again.

I arrived early for my appointment hoping to get right in the appointment at 8am no I waited half hour before I asked what was going on the Dr that was going to remove my wisdom teeth wasnt even there yet and that he should be there by 9, so at ten of 9 they took me back to the exam room Wichita had a curtain for a door hooked me to heart monitor and oxygen the three assistants (who were friendlier than some of the other employees I have experienced here) left the room said they would be back in a few I waited a half hour in the chair basically restrained by the oxygen before one the assistants came I told here to take the mask off as it was extremely uncomfortable the other two girls came back in and explained that the doctor was late and his phone kept going to voicemail they left to try to phone him again 15minutes later they came back and said he had finally arrived at this point I was very mad in horrible pain he comes in with the excuses he text some one that he would be late blah blah bla Im getting even more upset as he decides that while getting himself prepped hes talking all the small talk with the assistants it was another 15 before he started sedation numbed me up with a lot of novican I woke up just as he was removing last tooth I had explained to them before that Ive had conscious sedation once he was done I was ready to go home but no here go into this closet thats got a grubby looking twin mattress the Dr leaves the room doesnt say anything so Im just sitting hoping he comes back and says I sent your prescription out ,all the while they keep telling my ride there still waiting for me to wake-up, after a few mins I got up and looked up and down the hall for some one two employees approach me and tell I need to lay down and I explained I wasnt feeling the sedation effects and wanted to but more stay I waited another ten minutes before one my assistants came in and asked what my problem was explained I was ready to get out of there she finally hands me the after care sheet explains that they used disolvable stiches and then sent my script out very bitter sweet experience it seems more like a high school that a business the way the majority of staff speak and socialized in the hallway and desk. management must not exist at all their ... happy to have the teeth out but thats all
