STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN!!! I went there for the annual checkup and was happy with the clean. The doctor recommend me to remove the wisdom and I agreed to get it removed. I had 2 bad experiences with Calian Dental Group after the initial cleaning. 1. I have been requested to wait in the dental surgery chair for around 1 hour and the surgeon was attending other patients. During the tooth removal surgery the surgeon was rash and his big big hand was flexible enough to remove the wisdom tooth delicately. He was on a rush and removed the tooth abruptly cause a lots of damage to the root. The bleeding was not stopping after a day or two and I took a reappointment with Dr. Calian. He prescribed me hydrocodone and antibiotic to reduce the pain and the wound took around 4 weeks to heal. 2. During the cleaning time I have been requested for fill the cavities. I have been examined by the doctor and provided with the estimate. I have also paid the deductible for the surgery as per the estimate. A month later I have received an additional invoice from Dr. Calian and I have spoken to receptionist Julian/others around 4 times for the clarification. I have been told that the invoice was for the additional fillings and my insurance company did not cover the Resin composite fillings for the rear tooth which was okay for me but Calian Dental neither inform me or mentioned in the estimate. The estimate shown the patience amount as well as the total cost. They could have also advised me to call the insurance company and verify but Julian had all the details to do so. Im not the first person who has done the filling and I have also been told there is no way that Julian can find what is covered through Delta dental insurance. So I called delta insurance and clarified this statement with the insurance company. Delta dental told me that usually dental service providers calls and verify the coverage based on the PROCEDURE CODE or they can check that online. So Im not sure why they doing this intentially? for money? Is it a good customer service practice? Think before you visit this place :) I missed to add that the polishing on my upper tooth was not correctly done and after filling I started getting pain on the bottom tooth which was there never before !

We recommend Dr. Calian whole-heartedly, and it was a bonus that he is excellent with nervous patients (which one of us is). His staff, especially Margaret, is finely tuned and helpful, and his hygienists are wonderful - Olga is the best of the best. Over the years, weve sent lots of people to this office and there has never been a complaint. Dental care is important and this practice is the equal to or superior than those found in Manhattan. Love the office from the moment I got there. 3 things are of most importance to me at a Dental office. Cleanliness, professionalism and high quality care. This office well deserves 5 stars. The front desk is very friendly and informative. Jillian is great with explaining treatment and made me feel comfortable and right at home. Dr. Calian and his associates are very knowledgeable and provide patients with exceptional treatment. Love the spa feel of the office and its nice to have the option to watch tv!

A very poorly run practice. I called the office when I was shopping for a new dentist, they told me that they took my insurance. I saw the dentist, they collected no money and didnt ask for payment for anything. 9 months later, I got a bill, when I called they told me the doctor isnt participating with my insurance. The staff was very pleasant but they use deceptive practices to get you in the door. Unless money is no object, I would stay away from Dr. Calian.

So - the Calian Dental Group has struck gold again. Judy, my new-ish hygienist was fabulous. Thank you for suggesting the topical anesthetic - what a different experience it was. She was courteous, efficient, and gave me great pointers about brushing, etc - just such a pleasant experience. Dr. Calian, as always - was gracious and thorough. Keep up the great work Calian team!

When I come to the office it always feels like home. However, more than that, I had a procedure done that NO other office could get right. Not only did he fix the screw ups from the other places but went in and did a job I dont think anyone else could pull off. I would say, best in Westchester (at least). If you need any oral treatment, this is the place you go.

Overall, a great experience! The office itself has a calm atmosphere and is very clean. Upon arrival I was greeted and checked in quickly. My hygienist made my retainer impression painless and easy. My appointment was finished within 20 minutes or so. I will definitely return here for future dental visits. Great office, pleasant appointment.

I love my teeth now. Dr. Calian did amazing job! The office is so comfortable and calming.. I was nervous at first, but the atmosphere there made me so calm. Everyone is friendly and professional. And they have free reserved parking!
