Dr. Feeley conducted a brief 12 minute assessment to establish why my eyes were so scratchy and dry.... The result of the procedure she offered in the office to rectify my "dry eye" issue has helped me more than anything! I really appreciate the constant updating they do at Midway to stay abreast of the newest options for eye care. It was also helpful that they were kind enough to schedule my wifes and my procedures at the same time! I am truly grateful for the friendly, thorough, and efficient medical care!

I recently moved to the area and was referred to Dr. Shumaker by a work colleague. The exam I received is by far the most thorough eye exam Ive ever received. And I appreciate how sensitive and accommodative he and his staff were to my concern about prior allergies Ive had. The staff was very friendly, sensitive to my needs and highly competent. Additionally, I was able to get into a prescription reading glass for a very reasonable cost. I feel that Im in excellent hands under Dr. Shumakers care.

Very professional! I had no problem making the appointment, I had to wait approximately 2 weeks which I think is normal for this area. I did not have to wait very long to start my examination when I arrived in the office. Everybody I spoke with during the one-hour examination was very courteous and pleasant to talk with. I never felt rushed and privacy was maintained. I recommend Dr. Shumaker and his practice to anyone having need for an optometrist.

I was referred to Midway Eye Care, and even after arriving 20 minutes late, the staff was understanding and still got me in to an appointment. Dr. Feeney was gracious and understanding, communicating everything clearly and succinctly. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and I left feeling informed and confident in the switch to this eye care center. The only drawback was that it was a little difficult to find.

I was running about 15 minutes; they still took me. I had no cash and forgot my debit card at home; they still took me. The new screening they have about the oil ducks was very "eye" opening. I just always feel good when I leave there office. Everyone is so nice. Dr. Shumaker takes his time with your exam. I feel like I have gotten a great eye exam when I leave there. Thank you all.....................

I have been seeing Dr. Feeley for about 6 years and my 16 year old son for 3 years. Monday was the first eye appointment ever for my 10 year old daughter and she was terrified. Dr. Feeley and her staff were wonderful with her and explained everything they were doing. Even after we got home my daughter said several times how nice everyone was. Wonderful first experience for her!!

Everyone at the office was amazing! As a first time eye exam patient, I was really nervous. The staff were all kind, courteous, and very thorough. Great customer service by staff but most importantly a great doctor. I trust Dr. Shumaker and would recommend Midway Eyecare to friends and family. I have been going to same eye doctor for more than 10 years and would not consider changing, even though the drive is more than 60 miles. Midway Eyecare is worth the drive!
