I just tried to make an appointment with Dr. Bookout because I have heard such good things about her. I was very disappointed to discover she DOES NOT accept my insurance, CHAMPVA, which is the insurance I have as a widow of a US Navy veteran. I would be good to see acceptance of this insurance as a show of support for those who have sacrificed so much for the good of this country.

I had no trouble at all getting an appointment, although I had to wait several weeks to see her as a new patient. Dr. Bookout was very nice, and helpful, and I was shocked by how affordable the laser treatment to remove dark spots off my face turned out to be! I will definitely continue to see her any time I need a dermatologist, as will my family.
