Just called to ask about scheduling a depo shot. I was transferred twice, and on the 3rd ring I am connected with this lady who seems to know very little english. It took at least 10 minutes for me to explain to her how to spell my name (her thinking the letter L sounded like an O) and for her to understand when my birthday was (not the 16th, the 15th). After this, she proceeds to tell me that there are no openings for 2 months. Have never been to this health department, but Im sure if I were to go I would have a kidney removed from all the misunderstanding. Health department workers need to understand english. Government employees need to understand english. So disappointed.

I have never in my life been to a place like this.The people work there is so very very rude they dont know how to talk to people the lady in the record departments is nasty rude!!I call to make a appointment I was on hold for 20 min then was hung up on.I would never go back to this place again and will not recommend it to no one,everyone that works there needs to be fired they need to hire people that know how to respect other people and not be so rude, the State needs to read all these reviews cause something needs to be done about these rude workers.if not this place needs to be close down until they get the right people there.

Im having to switch from Jefferson County to Tuscaloosa County since my main office is shuting down and I have moved.. The reviews on here are terrible so Im hoping the experience is as good and helpful as the lady I spoke to here earlier.. Probably one of the nicest people I have talked to that is employed by the government.. Do like that they provide more birth control options than morris health dept.. Just hope I dont have any issues being seen since she said they would have to review my records and theyd call me.

It took over an hour to be seen. I was left alone in a room, after being brought back, for 30 minutes. When drawing my blood, the nurse complained about my veins and wasnt going to use an alcohol swab to clean the area until I protested. When I was being asked questions, the same nurse told me that I "would respond with yes maam and no maam, was that clear?" Worst medical appointment Ive ever had. I do not recommend this place. Theyre rude and do not care about the patient at all.

They are very slow my appointment was @ 10am. I got her at 10:15, they called me back @ 10:45. Did all my update. Her it is 11:30 and no one has not seen me yet!! I here this door and that door closing. Go to check and see whats going on, she say its only one np here. Im like I been here for 2hrs and in the back for 1hr!! Its almost 1:00pm and Im still here...Dont think Ill be coming back for a while!!!

I want recommend this place to nobody simply cause they make an appointment after the holidays and wasnt open then u go the following day and they wanna set u an appointment for a whole notha month
