I was hesitant to come here because I had a bad experience at another chiropractor. The other chiropractor wanted me to commit to going in to see him several times a week for a year. When I told him I only wanted to get rid of my back pain he was very condescending to me. When I came here to Apex Medical, the doctor told me it would take 1-2 weeks to feel better and he was right! It took less than 2 weeks and I felt almost 100%. Another thing I really respected was that they didn’t knock the other chiropractor when I told them what happened. They actually explained (better than the other chiropractor) why the other guy’s recommendation was good and how it would help me if I had the time to commit to it. Very classy. I highly recommend this office to anyone!

I dont typically write reviews but I cant say enough nice things about Apex Medical Group! The staff there is amazing - you feel like their top priority from the moment you walk in the front door. Dr. Menke goes above and beyond with his patient care to make sure you receive individualized treatment for your specific needs. I love how he uses functional movement and physical therapy exercises in addition to his chiropractic adjustments. Long story short - Dr. Menke makes sure to treat and solve your pain for good not just provide temporary relief. If you need a chiropractor or any kind of functional medicine you need to come to Apex! Cant wait to go back :)

I have known Dr. Shand since 2002 and he has always been sincerely concerned with my issues and what he can do to make me feel better. I have been treated by several doctors at Apex and most recently by Dr. Menke. Corey is wonderful and always takes time to listen to what is going on with me. He works hard to fix my pain and has made a huge difference with several different problems I have had. He listens and asks questions about me. He seems to truly care and remembers from visit to visit what I have to say. I highly recommend Apex Medical Group!

I injured myself doing CrossFit several times and was blaming the workout. I love CrossFit but was going to quit because I kept hurting myself. Not only did Apex fix me up quick, but they explained how to take care of my body so I could keep doing what I love and not get injured. I love that they didn’t just tell me I needed to come back all the time. They actually gave me things to do on my own so I didn’t need to see them so much. I’m working out harder than ever and I haven’t injured myself since. I just go in if I feel like I need a tune up.

I go to to see Rick Shand if I ever have any chiropractic needs because I know he is knowledgable, an expert, and hes thorough and polite. Apex has been in business for quite a long time and they always do a great job. My husband convinced me to go for my first visit because he had been to Shand for an adjustment. I was skeptical at first, but after going I would not go to any other chiropractor because I know Im getting quality care here. I always recommend Apex/Rick Shand to anyone seeking chiropractic care. They will not be disappointed.

My scheduling of chiropractic care was necessitated due to neck stiffness and pain as well as shoulder/arm pain when using my computer mouse. After my first visit, I had significant relief and after a couple follow up visits I am pretty much symptom-free. I have had chiropractic care from other care givers and can honestly say every visit at Apex has been top quality. They have proven to be the most therapeutic in my case, and I received the best possible care through this office.

I have a pretty high pressure job and always get an incredible pain between my shoulder blades and up into my neck. It used to be a constant pain in my life until I went to Apex. After 3 treatments I finally didn’t have the pain. It still comes back once in a while because of my job, but I just pop in and get adjusted anytime I feel it coming on. They always get me in when I need it and take good care of me.

I’m very impressed with the service I received. I came in for a lower back ache. I was diagnosed and surprised to find the problem was underlying. I had recently take up Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and I thought I had injured my lower back in training. I noticed a rapid improvement in my symptoms and increase in strength through my low back. Thanks to all at Apex for your excellent care.

I went to see Dr. Shand at Apex Medical because I heard he worked with diabetics. I was skeptical but I needed to do something. I can’t believe it, but after working with Dr. Shand for less than 3 months, I went back to my medical doctor who took me off of ALL of my diabetic medication! He even wrote on my blood test “no sign of diabetes.” You’re a miracle worker Dr. Shand!

I came in because of chronic headaches. They were getting so bad and I work at a computer all day which doesn’t help. Finally one of my coworkers that goes to Apex got sick of me complaining and told me to make an appointment. I’m SO glad I did. My headaches were much better after the first treatment and were gone after a week. Why didn’t I know about you guys sooner?!

I came in after an accident with limited rotation in my neck and severe pain. I suffered neck spasms, migraines and all over discomfort. After a couple of treatments I began feeling better. My migraines lessened and feel better now than before I began. Apex has been exceptional in not only back care but overall health. I am grateful to all of the staff at Apex.

Dr Shand and the folks there are amazing. They did a fantastic job with me years ago when I thought I had no options other than surgery. Thankfully, I did not need surgery and feel great and pain free. I go every week just to stay in line and I sleep better and rarely get sick. You are as old as flexible as your spine. the staff and doctors are simply amazing and attentive. when you are a patient of Apex..you are like family! not only is the office great..after a car accident, Dr. Clark was able to get me back on my feet quickly and efficiently. They have a great on site massage therapist and making appointments is always so easy. I love this office!!

I went to Apex Medical Group after a car accident. They got me in right away and everyone was really helpful and nice. Dr. Menke was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and just a real genuine guy.
