I am a surgical RN and have worked in hospitals all over the country with orthopedics being my specialty so needless to say I am very picky about my care. I had my right knee replaced here in Sept 2013 and just had my left knee done yesterday. Of course, my surgeon was wonderful or I wouldnt have let him operate in the first place. Dr. Smith did my anesthesia and he kept me wonderfully comfortable. Dr. Banerjee is the internal medicine doc and he is just great: keeps me informed of everything and is open to any suggestions I have. Physical therapy is a great group. Now for the nurses, saving the best for last. From the admitting nurse to preop to post op and on to the in patient unit, this is a group of goddesses! They are on their toes, know what they are doing and enjoy working here so they are happy which is contagious. Knee replacement is a brutal surgery and pain management a huge concern. This group has kept me comfortable, informed and entertained. The night nurses (the first I really remember) are just awesome and had me laughing while they helped me move my surgical leg. All the nurses here are warm, caring and genuinely happy with their jobs (not always the case with medical cutbacks, etc). I would recommend this facility to anyone needing orthopedic surgery. The place, people, food ... all just EXCELLENT.

I just returned home from a left hip replacement at AZ Ortho.Surgical Hosp. And I hope to get accross to you how wonderful this facility is. Had a great Doc (Duhon) and the Anesthesiologist, I beleive was Dr. An. He was absolutly the BEST! For once, I did not wake up retching and nauseated!! I want to shout out to all the RNs , CNAs, and PTs, they were all helpful & cheerful. Everyone of them deserve a big round of applause...from the pre-op nurse Marylynn RN, Kelly RN-PACU, Monique RN, Chelsea RN, Kady RN and two of the best CNSs ever Jessica & Veronica. All of these girls made being in the hospital a good experience, (considering I was in the hospital) Dont forget Brian (el jefe) the coolest PT guy around!

I had my left hip replaced in Jan. and had a good experience at Az Ortho. Surg. Hosp. I read the one other review here, and had I witnessed something wrong, I would say something, which I do. People learn from experience and saying something in a "positive" way usually gets a point across. Also, your Dr. can be told about something. The care I received was great. And I will be back there tomorrow morning for my other hip to be replaced. Another review will follow..

My friend got there at 5:30 a.m comma he didnt get seen for 3 hours. Then they had three tries at an ivy that failed. Then after finally getting one informed him that he had to have someone stay with him for 24 hours straight. This was totally negligent of the staff not to him form him ahead of time of this condition. He was discharged and very disappointed. Whoever takes care of scheduling surgery with future patient was totally negligent and should be fired.

Wow. Along with Dr. Eifler and staff, these guys made an ACL Reconstruction and Meniscus repair seem as simple as having your car detailed. Everyone was professional, very friendly, and efficient yet unhurried making my first ever general anesthetic surgery enjoyable. And I am one of those people that "dont like hospitals". Even during my pre-surgery lab work, they expedited getting me in and out due to a tight schedule.

My wife had need surgery there and the care of the staff is excellent. Waiting areas are great with coffee and something to drink. She was there for 3 days total and the care from the nurses was more than they has to do. They wore the best, veey helpful. It is not just a job for them butthey really are caring and the other staff. Wife is very happy with this place. Doctor was excellent, the best.

I came from Colorado to visit my mom at your center after knee surgery. I have been in many medical settings and hospitals and I was beyond surprised at the pleasant attitude of EACH medical personel (doctor B, the nurses, CNAs,). The cook Ron was truly patient and caring and professional in dealing with food allergies. I cant praise your facility enough. THANK YOU

nice hospital with awesome nurses. but whats with nasty receptionist though? came to visit family and the old lady had such a chip on her shoulder. acted like she owned the place and was so unhappy to be there all at the same time.
