Dr. Allen is a very kind, gentle doctor who I felt could help me. Im sure hes great with delivering babies, but he performed surgery on me for another female issue and I almost died with internal bleeding right after the surgery. He could not look me in the face to tell me what happened and I had to have another doctor help me. I continued to have complications for weeks after once I got out of the hospital and he basically called me a liar when I was describing what was going on. I found another OB/GYN after that and he took me in for an appointment very fast after reading my medical records from the surgery and afterwards. He helped get me back on my feet and made me feel secure that all was finally well after several months.

Dr. Doug Allen, an EXCELLENT obstetrician in Pleasant Grove, helped get my husband and me through two very difficult, extremely painful, and sometimes scary pregnancies. I have chronic pain issues and have seen my fair share of "Doctors" who really just dont give a crap, wont listen to the patient and run pill mills. Dr Allen is a good listener, very experienced, is more interested in treating the whole patient rather than just the symptoms, and will take excellent care of you and your fetus. He is also genuinely happy for you when baby finally arrives!

I love Dr Allen! I cant say enough about this man. He is an excellent physician. He is so kind and a very skilled surgeon. I had an emergency hysterectomy Christmas Eve do to a very large uterine fibroid. I was very fortunate that he happend to be on call at American Fork Hospital. My recovery has been amazing and the after care Ive received from Dr Allen has been wonderful. His skills saved my life and his kindness and care helped me through a traumatic event. Ill be forever grateful that the events of that night led me to him.

Dr. Allen is, for lack of a better word, the best! I recommend him to everyone that I know. He is kind, efficient and patient. I was very nervous with my first and had many questions. He never made me feel rushed. He took the time not only to answer my questions but to get to know us. He checked on us very frequently at the hospital after I gave birth. I joke with my friends that when he retires- I stop having children.. but Im only somewhat joking! :)

Very pleasant. Everyone in the office is very nice and helpful. Dr. Allen is an excellent physician, he always takes time to listen to you and go over any issues you may have and then discuss them with you to find the best solution or treatment that will be effective and fitting to your specific needs. Dr. Allen is a wonderful doctor! He is so caring and calm and exactly what I needed through my crazy pregnancy. There were so many complications and I was transferring my information from out of state and he always took the time to review my doctor records. He is a great listener and always calmed my fears and provided good advice. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr Allen has such a kind heart and he really cares about you as a patient and the well being of your baby. I had a high risk pregnancy and I feel like he always took my concerns seriously and always reassured me that he was keeping a close eye on us. I never had to wait long to see him either which I always appreciated. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Dr Allen is absolutely amazing. He spends as much time as needed with you each appointment. He also listens to anything you have to say. You can tell he loves what he does, when it came time to deliver you could see the pure joy he got from helping bring precious little ones into the world. If he ever retires I wont have any more children!

Absolutely love Dr. Allen and the staff at Revere Health! I found out I was pregnant shortly after moving to Utah and was so concerned about finding a great OBGYN for my second baby. Dr Allen always made me feel like my concerns mattered and took the time to listen and not just make me feel like "another patient". I highly recommend him!

Dr. Allen was the perfect doctor for me. I was aiming for a VBAC with baby #2. Dr. Allen took the time to talk about my concerns. He was very knowledgable, kind and patient. Dr. Allen has excellent bed side manner. He takes time to make you feel like an individual and not just a number in a line. He delivered my daughter in the middle of the night even though he wasnt on call. Dr. Allen is caring, laid back, and easy to get along with. He is very knowledgeable. Got to know Dr. Allen during my stay in the hospital for one week prior to my C-SECTION and fortunately he was the doctor who performed my C-SECTION because my doctor from the same office was out of town. My twin babies were born in the same minute and I had a quick recovery, was able to drive to the NICU within 10 days.

Dr. Allen delivered my first. He was calm under pressure and did everything he reasonably could to avoid a C-section because I was trying to deliver vaginally. I could write an entire story here, but he really was amazing all through the pregnancy and through the delivery and postpartum care.

Dr. Allen is wonderful. I would recommend him for anyone about to have a child. He was honest, open, and extremely personable. He checked up on us for a couple of days after the birth, which was the job of our midwife. We had an all around great experience with him.
