This review is for the cafeteria. I have never received medical treatment from Utah Valley Specialty Hospital so I cant review that part of it. I work at a building close by this hospital. Some coworkers of mine recommended getting lunch from the cafeteria. I have been so impressed that I have recommended friends and family eat here. The food is delicious-not your typical cafeteria food. It is healthy and they let you customize what you would like. It is also extremely well priced; I cant make my own lunches for the price they charge. What makes my experience over the top though is how friendly the staff is. The server, Chris, knows me by name and everyone else from the front desk to the cleaning lady couldnt be anymore helpful and kind.

Spent 4 weeks here. 4.5 stars. For the most part, very professional staff especially the physical therapists and occupational therapists. Additionally, Victor and Eun Suk were particularly good nurses. Whenever they came through the door, I was all smiles. There were many good nurses and others whose names I cant remember now. Treated me and my family very well. They were wonderful. My case manager made my transition home very smooth. Drew Wright (physical therapist) came to my home several times during the first few weeks after I came home to help me with physical therapy. He is very good and very professional. I would definitely recommend this hospital.

When this facility was referred to me and my family I decided to go online and check the reviews before my mom was transferred and make sure it was a good option for us. I saw the negative reviews posted on here and expressed my concern to the case manager who recommended this facility. She assured me that this would be the best place for my mother and would give her the best chance. Im so glad we gave in and sent her there instead of letting these negative reviews persuade us otherwise. I have nothing but good to say about this facility and the staff who cared for my mom and would refer it to anyone.

I love the staff. From the moment my mother arrived the staff embraced me. They explained what to expect and made feel as if a burden had been lifted. I felt like I could relax and just focus on my mom knowing she was getting great care, rather than worrying about what was happening and if anyone was paying attention. She was doted on and gently pushed with encouragement to work physically so she could go home. And she went home! I want everyone to know the doctors and the good this hospital does. THANK YOU!

I want to thank the wonderful team at Utah Valley Specialty Hospital who cared for my mom post stroke. A special thank you to the RNS, PCTS, and therapists that showed extra compassion and empathy towards my mom: Victor, Ada, Denise, Shaun, Jeff, Brittany, Lindsay, Tracy - Thank you for your kindness and helping my mom take the next towards recovery.

The care provided at this facility is terrible! There was no communication from the doctors or his team. Staff was short and unsupportive. My familys questions about my mothers care were never fully addressed. Bottom line - dont trust your loved ones to this very unprofessional and sub-par hospital.
