Dr. Herrera has been a wonderful doctor, and has helped us immensely! I have been taking my husband (Garry) to Dr. Herrera now for nearly five full years. Garry is seriously ill with over a dozen severe chronic illnesses – AND is extremely limited and disabled by them. In fact, he is VERY lucky to even be alive after going through severe bouts of congestive heart failure (where all of his heart valves were leaking, along with significant regurgitation) and was extremely close to getting a heart transplant just to survive at only 39 yrs of age! Before finding Dr. Herrera, Garry had been so sick, so weak, and so unbelievably ill that he could barely even get out of bed and make it to the next room without falling down onto the floor! For more than two full decades, I had to constantly be at his side (to help keep him from falling) in almost everything he did, including simple things like brushing his teeth. To sum it up, he was completely homebound, and 99% bedridden due to the severe complexities of his illnesses, and most doctors just weren’t willing to even consider what could possibly be causing so many severe symptoms in just one person. We had been to so many doctors for help, but most of them not only didn’t have a clue, but weren’t even willing to run enough tests to diagnose (what turned out to be – MANY severe health conditions)! Dr. Herrera was recommended to us by a lady who worked at a Walgreens Take Care Clinic, and she took the time to call his office for us and ask them if they could get us in the next day, and surprisingly, they did – bright and early the next morning! She said to us "You are going to love Dr. Herrera." And sure enough, she was Right!! Dr. Herrera has always taken the time to listen to any of our concerns, and has NEVER ever rushed us through like so many other doctors are in the habit of doing. He actually cares enough about the patients to listen and tries to understand, and to come up with solutions or treatment. He also is open to suggestions and tries to offer different options that he feels would be best for the individual patient’s needs. He is very personable and caring, compassionate, and does whatever he can to help us with all of Garry’s many medical problems, including severe and chronic pain (from Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Sciatica, and Neuropathy), Cardiovascular problems like Congestive heart failure (and other heart problems and breathing problems like Asthma), Diabetes, Thyroid diseases, severe hormone imbalances, extremely low or no energy levels, Sleep Apnea, muscular problems, physical weakness and inability to function, and even with battling depression and anxiety problems due to being so sick for so long. Dr. Herrera is the sweetest doctor we’ve ever had and also the most helpful - which is really saying a lot because Garry has seen at least 40-50 doctors in these last three decades, and NONE of them have helped like Dr. Herrera has. He even puts up with my husband’s droll & dry sense of humor which isn’t always easy. LOL. We love him and would recommend him to anyone!

DO NOT GO HERE. UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I had an appointment at 8 in the morning and wasnt taken back until 8:30! I should have known it was going to be unprofessional when they were already behind that early in their day. Ridiculous. I then waited another 10 minutes before they had a student doctor come in. He asked me every question in the book, all while taking meticulous notes on a clipboard, then he told me he would go and see if Dr Smith was ready for us. I waited another 10 minutes, then the student came back in and told me they were going to give me a rapid flu test. I wait another 5 minutes and someone comes in with a swab. When he left with it he didnt even cover it with anything, he just walked out with the swab. Talk about spreading disease, GROSS. Then FINALLY Dr Smith came in and "confirmed" with me everything that the student Dr had already asked me, except that he got almost everything wrong and I had to basically reexplain everything to him. Waste. Of. Time. Then I had to wait 10 more minutes for the "rapid" flu test results, which ended up being negative. After that the student came back in and gave me a ghetto sticky note of OTC meds that I could take. I asked him if they were safe for someone who was nursing and he just looked at me like he had no clue and then said: "Um, yes." I was sooooo frustrated with my experience. Im fine with a teaching program and letting students learn, but PLEASE streamline your process. Im also ok with waiting in the waiting room and even waiting for a few minutes in the exam room, but once I have been seen by a Dr I want to get out of there as fast as possible. I was at this office for an hour and a half and wasnt even given a prescription for my upper respiratory INFECTION. (If I have a infection shouldnt I be able to at least get a z-pack????) DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS OFFICE.

I have been under Dr. Herraras care for over two years. Being in my mid 40s and dealing with various issues long term I didnt expect to get any different type of care than I had experienced in the past. I was wrong, Dr. Herrera is the most kind, attentive doctor I have ever been to. He not only explains what he sees going on but offers solutions. He has helped me tremendously by validating my chronic pains, depression etc. He referred me to another specialist who confirmed what Dr. Herrera was thinking, I have Fibromyalgia. Im so thankful he understands my pain is real, and we are working on what works for me to deal with it. He is open to my suggestions and I really feel like he truly cares about me. Yes, they have student doctors, so what, they are always kind, professional and quiet frankly I think it helps to have another doctor brief him on the patients perceived issues so when he is coming in to see you he has obviously been thinking of you. I highly recommend this office, I havent had any of the issues that others here have written, its hard for me to even imagine its the same office, I have seen Dr, Smith a couple of times too when sickness arose & I needed to be seen right away, I can only speak highly of him too. I highly recommend Complete Care Medicine!

So Wanted to take a moment to write a review for this office hoping that Dr.Herrera himself will see the issues in this office. I have been a patient of Dr.Herrera for over 6 plus years. When we started my husband always seen Dr.Herrera and I always have seen Jana. They are both amazing I love them they are professional and caring. At one point we stopped going because they started bring other providers and it was hard to get in with Dr. Herrera and Jana. Other providers are rude and not caring , and staff was always rude but we kept coming back for Dr.Herrera and jana. We left for a while we got feed up with inconsistency in this office and how rude staff was. We kept coming back because we cannot find good providers like them 2. Over all this office employees are not that greatest but has gotten better just to many providers no personal relationship. I wait till Jana has appointments, and my husband has not been able to schedule with Dr.Herrera for years now. Jana and Dr.Herrera are the best in Gilbert for sure. This office would be amazing if they could just get caring people (happy people).
