This clinic is the used car lot of healthcare clinics. They push unneeded immunizations on you using scare tactics like "well, if you dont get it and you are out in the field you may step on something that will cause permanent spinal blah blah blah". Of course youll be afraid not to get it, even if you were just seen by your healthcare provider of the last 10 yrs (less than a week prior, who administered all needed meds for our trip - yellow fever which was the reason for our appointment at WTH), who told you that you didnt need the booster for another 2 yrs. I firmly believe World Travel Health cares more about your $$$ then your health. Seek other options before you consider this place and definitely see you regular MD prior so you know exactly what you do need and DONT need. And always check with the CDC before travel so you understand what is required and recommended. Im not just an unhappy customer, I am a mother whos 19 yr old daughter was given an immunization booster 2 yrs before it was required because a nurse (saleswoman) thought she new better than our DOCTOR (or maybe she was trying to pay the rent). There are 199 places in AZ (via cdc website) where you can receive the yellow fever vaccine. Please do yourself a favor and RESEARCH your options. UPDATE: Potential customers should be aware of World Travel Healths pricing. Not only did they administer unnecessary vaccine they also overcharge for many items. Tetanus, for example, is $89 at WTH. If you have insurance it ranges between $10-$40 from your MD (WTH does NOT accept insurance) but even without insurance, you can get it for $59 at Walgreens. WTH charges $189 for yellow fever, Walgreens charges $159. if you do decide to go to WTH (I dont know why you would) you should be aware that they use high pressure/scare sales tactics before going in. You need to do the research beforehand and be confident in knowing exactly what you need, because in my experience WTH is there to sell, sell, sell. Oh, and just a tip: if you need antimalarial meds print out a goodRX card and fill the RX at Walmart. Most insurance wont cover the medication and goodRX will save you $$$.

Look no further. This clinic is top notch! The staff are very professional, friendly, service is great and prices are competitive. The clinic is clean, appears well organized, and I felt very comfortable at this facility. Education was given regarding which vaccines that I might consider for safe travel overseas and supportive literature was provided. All my questions were answered completely to my satisfaction. Im a bit fearful when it comes to getting shots, but must say that the nurse helped me to feel comfortable during the process and to my surprise, the shot were near painless. I would recommend this clinic to all my friends and family.
