I think the staff here is friendly and I’d like to keep them as my family doctor. Unfortunately they seem to care more about the money then about helping the patient. I had the high deductible plan through my work, which was a choice I made and I was fully aware of what that means. However I’ve had several issues with the office and they have refused to do any thing but tell me “That is office policy” Issue 1: My wife was in for a regular scheduled visit which had nothing to do with her ears. The PA said “oh your ears need some cleaning” so my wife said ok, so they briefly cleaned her ears. And then we get a bill that includes a $70 charge for “In office surgery”…..office surgery for the 5 minutes it took to clean the ears?! I called and questioned it but there was no hope they didnt care. Issue 2: My wife was in for a back issue. The doctor examined and explained some things for about 10-15 mins and my wife asked a few questions taking up about 5-10 more minutes. The bill came….an extra $50 tab on top of the normal bill for an ‘extended visit’…less than 30 minutes is considered an ‘extended visit’? yeah right… Issue 3: (at a different time with different insurance) I was out of state for work and wasn’t going to be home for another 2 months. The work came up unexpectedly and I wasn’t aware that it was going to be long term until I had already left. The office policy is that all prescription refills require an office visit. I called to explain my situation and that I was aware of the office policy but that my prescription needs to be refilled and I’m not in the state and won’t be for some time. The prescription was not a hard narcotic nor anything that could really be solid illegally, it was an antacid. They refused to refill my prescription and I was required to go to an out of network doctor, deal with the whole mess of faxing medical records and filling out first time patient forms. A huge pain in the butt and once again another expense I had to occur because of ‘office policy’ for a measly 2 more months on my prescription and then I’d be back in the state and back in his office?! Sounds to me like it’s an office policy so they can get people in so they can get some $$$$ for another office visit, no mater what the circumstances are… I understand that businesses have rules and rules exist for a reason, but no rule is always 100% fair or accurate and this office has time and time again refused to be helpful to it’s patients, and I’m tired of dealing with it. We’re going to start having kids soon and I know kids only make things more complicated and I need a dr office that makes things simple for their patients, trusts their patients and cares more about helping the patients than the dollar signs. I haven’t seen that from this office.

I have been an established patient here for a few years now and didnt have any issues with this place until more recently. I have never had any issues with any of the doctors or nurses Ive seen. The problem Im having is the people who answer the phone and billing. I cant remember the last time I have been this frustrated with a business. Perhaps its Obama Care that has fouled things up. All I know is that my two most recent insurance plans were supposed to be in network. I checked with the insurance provider prior to enrolling and each time was told this office was in network for the plan I selected. Fast forward to after my wife and I had both been seen, we were billed as though we had no insurance. Then, told over the phone by billing we should have been covered by Skylines billing office. Then, told they werent sure... okay. Fast forward again several months later with a totally different insurance provider and now Im being told they dont accept my insurance. The problem here is my insurance says they are in-network for my plan. Long story short - I liked my doctor, but cant stand the mess of an office staff I have had to deal with. They have been professional and nice over the phone but dont seem to know whats going on.

Dr Stephen Thomas is a crook. I cant believe he wrote me a prescription for a 1/4 of the amount I was receiving from my last doctor and had the nerve to schedule me an appointment 10 days later charged me for a visit again and did;t give me a thing. Hes all about the money and doesnt care about his patients care. Beware of this doctor. I have nothing against the staff, they were friendly and did what they could, but Dr. Stephen Thomas once again wouldnt listen about my aching back, sore knee, anxiety, etc... He just wants me to go spend money on MRIs, Xrays, and so forth, which I do not have time nor the money for. Ill never see him again and I suggest you dont either...

I have seen both physicians and a P.A. at this office and have been pleased with my experiences. Dr. Thomas especially is as honest and good of a physician as you will find, and one of the smartest people I know. These physicians are straight shooters. Whoever wrote that negative review about Dr. Thomas was probably just a drug seeker looking to get some narcotics to sell on the street. Dont waste your time if that is what you are looking for from these physicians. They are interested in your health, not in feeding addictions.

After being a patient for over 3 years, todayI had a very unpleasant visit. The PA I saw today was one I hadnt seen before. After explaining to him my symptoms of numbness in my arm, and having a severe migraine for over a week, he proceeded to tell me I needed a MRI, X ray and brain scan before looking at my notes to see I had already done that. He was rude and could care less about my pain and problems. Ive never felt so belittled at a doctors office. That was by far the worst visit Ive ever had.

Heather Cooper, PA is amazing. She is friendly, kind, funny and a good listener. More importantly, she is very knowledgeable, has a gentle touch, and explains everything clearly and in terms I understand, giving all me all my pharmaceutical or procedural options. She even drew a diagram of the body and how things function to make sure I understood. She provides time for questions and reviews what we talked about to make sure we covered everything.

Dr. Green & Sabrena Anderson are AWESOME!! This has been my doctors office since 2004 and I love them! I drive all the way from Glendale to see them and it is always worth it! I would recommend this doctors office to anyone and I do!! I am always made to feel like I am the most important person in the office at the time, which is wonderful. I dont ever feel rushed and nor talked down too.

Professional, kind and always willing to get things resolved. They were proactive when I came in. Went in on a Friday Dr. Thomas recommended a number of test, They called with the results on Saturday, I was in the hospital that day. Great people to make sure you are taken care of.
