We took our Collie in for a dental cleaning and Dr. Balke discovered her left upper canine was dead and required a root canal and crown in order to properly save the tooth. We had the option to pull it but decided to save it. The professional manner in which Dr. Balke and staff handled the entire process was exceptional. They explained every step in advance and provided full explanations post procedure as to how things went and how they monitored our Collie during the procedure to make sure all was okay. They are the best for animal dentistry we have experienced in 40+years of dog ownership. ...you can see her picture below with her new crown!

My whole experience was very seemless! Had to take my cat in for plaque build up and gingivitis that was causing him pain. They explained the whole procedure beforehand and showed me pictures of things that could go wrong in cats mouths. I left him for a few hours and called me before they started on any additional things they found. They even sent me a picture of him when he woke up looking comfy and relaxed. Price is a bit steep, but its probably similar to going to a human dentist when anesthesia is involved. Overall, great experience!

Kind, compassionate and world-class dentistry for your pet! We came from out of town and Dr. Adriene and staff worked to accomodate our travels while giving the best care. My dog had 3 fractured teeth that got pulled. She recovered beautifully and is back to 100%. She is a working ranch dog and trained as a service dog and her health is a top priority. Cant say enough positive things about Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists. Thanks!!
