My experience here has been amazing. The doctors really are specialized and they do an amazing job. If you have an emergency after hours after surgery, a surgeon calls you back to resolve any issues. I would highly recommend this place for surgery. One thing I do think, is that after surgery dogs should stay in the hospital for 2 days rather than just one as coming out of anesthesia is difficult and I would rather have my dog in the care of vet techs and vets just to be safe. Im sure most people dont want to pay the extra fee but I absolutely would. Yay, I finally found a place I trust with my kids for surgery.

Great staff, they kept me up to date when my little Chihuahua had surgery for lucating patella in December 2016. I would recommend them to pet parents who have a dog or cat needing the best surgeons, my little one was too small for local vets to safely treat so we went to SouthWest Vet and they were able to fix his bad knee. We will go to them again should my boy ever need specialized surgery.

The front desk staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The doctor and technician helped me understand more clearly the history of the dog I brought for consult. I felt the money spent for the consult was worthwhile.
