Im new to Arizona and I chose MomDoc by reviews. I am highly disappointed that I chose them. My first visit I told my o.b. that I was trying to get pregnant. She seemed to think it was a great idea and to call and make an appointment if I hadnt conceived within 6 months. A few months go by and Im pregnant. I call for my appointment and Im told that my doctor wont be the one seeing me, Ill see a midwife from now on. Ok I think I can handle another person working with me. My first appointment because of my BMI they tell me I need to do the one hour rush glucose test but Ill nave to come back in an hour to do so because the phlebotomist is going to lunch. No problem I tell the midwife and the scheduler that Im going to go eat as well. They say thats fine. Well when I get back in an hour Im told because I had a sprite with my lunch I cant do the test that day at all. So an hour wasted for that. Go in the next week for an ultrasound and the one hour glucose test. I see the tech, she is having trouble finding the heartbeat so they say Im not as far along as they thought and Im rescheduled for the next week. Im called the next day and told my one hour glucose test came back high, I need to do a 3 hour glucose test. Im told over the phone we dont set appointments for this, just come in any time. So I show up on my day off at 9:15 a.m., nope cant take the test because it will interfere with their lunch. Im sent to a lab where it also conflicts with their lunch... The exception here is that I wasnt turned away. The tech stayed through her lunch to make sure the test got done. Go for my second ultrasound... Different tech and without barely looking at me Im told the doctor will be back to see me shortly. A stranger comes to tell me that they are pretty sure Ive miscarried. There was no caring, no instructions on what to do next. I will not be going back to MomDoc. I will find an office where Im not passed around from stranger to stranger each visit. An office where pertinent information is given to the patient so as to keep them from being stressed.

DO NOT GO HERE!! Especially if you are a first time mom and have no experience with this stuff. They were rude, didnt act like my care or my sons care was important. I constantly had to go to different places to do blood tests (when they decided to do them) we found out our son MIGHT have Down Syndrome and they talked to us like he HAD it, showed no sympathy, told us we had to treat it like he did have downs. We also had to go outside of the facility to do the blood test for it. We then had issues with the test and was told I had to re do it (that was a mess!) Once, I had an appointment scheduled for 4:20pm, I was 5 minutes late, and when I came the office was completely closed! I never got an apology or anything, they didnt even ask to reschedule! So my husband and I decided to find a different place. I have called Mom Doc many times to get stuff transferred over, never a phone call back, EVER! The one time I leave a very unhappy message they decide to call back. Do not go here!!

This is my first pregnancy and I wish I would have read the reviews of this place. If you have never been...RUN! The organization is horrible at the Indian School office. After waiting for 45 minutes past my appointment time, I waited for another 45 minutes on the exam table waiting to meet my NP. The NP was fast with my exam, but then I had to wait an additional 30 minutes to get my blood work done because the tech went to lunch. I am advanced maternal age and wanted to find out all of my genetic testing options for genetic conditions. I decided to schedule the Harmony test, but that was after I received an anti-abortion speech from the NP in which she said, "MomDoc is an anti-abortion clinic. While I myself am pro-choice, anti-abortion, the two doctors who own Mom Doc are Mormon men and it is against their beliefs." I wasnt asking for an abortion, simply for information. How can this place claim to be "Women for Women" when the practice is owned by two men?

This place is a scam. Theyll have you sign a bunch of paper work and tell you you need all these unnecessary test. I came here for a check up .. I usually go to my regular doctor but couldnt take me in till the following month so I came here. I have pretty good insurance so I figured my co pay would be no more than 60 dollars. I thought it was sketchy that they didnt ask for a co pay and bill it to my address. I went in got a prescription and left. Turn out they did a pregnancy test and other test that I didnt need amor get information on. Now I have 300 for a lab test and 150 from the doctor with the dedicatible from my insurance. They are just trying to get as much money as they can from you. I also waited long time and it wasnt that great of a service either. My regular gynecologist who is a way nicer place doesnt over charge you. Dont come here

DO NOT GO HERE! I canceled my appointment almost an hour after my scheduled time because they were allowing others in before others appointment times and causing for over booking, and backed up times. It would have 2 hours after my appointment time before I would have been seen. They also have no sense of courtesy and more so a sense of friendship as I waited in line to turn in my papers while one started talking to a friend in the waiting room while I asked questions, and another associate allowed another woman to go ahead of me, only to turn in papers, the same thing I was waiting for. This place has a 1 star rating for a reason. Also I need to mention that their source of customer information is processed via iPad and not a secured medical system. Definitely unprofessional and untrustworthy!

I recently visited their Scottsdale office and was billed for an "after hour visit" that I was not aware of. I called for availability to which they said they had an open appointment. When making the appointment they didnt say anything about "after hours" or any additional charges that would be added. Their waiting prompt actually says if they do not offer a same day appointment before 2PM to ask for a manager or a next day appointment after 2PM.I specifically called to make sure my insurance was accepted and I would be charged nothing for the annual visit. HIGHLY dissatisfied and will not be back. Service was fine, but if the billing doesnt coincide whats the point?

This was the worst experience of my life and will not be returning!!! I am a medical professional and scheduled for an ultrasound for viability and when I arrived they had me down for a pap and STD testing, which I had 3 months ago! They were VERY unprofessional, very cold as everyone else was saying on here and I cannot believe that they havent changed their professionalism with all the negative feedback!! Their slogan "women for women" is very deceiving, because this is judgmental cold and very negative environment!! Do not recommend to anyone looking for good quality healthcare!!
