I am a new patient at the Saratoga Springs office and I have LOVED my experience with doctors and nurses there, so far.... But the nurses at the American Fork location are ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! I recently had to get blood drawn for a genetic screening test at the AF location and what should have taken 5 mins ended up taking over a half an hour because the nurses at the station were completely CLUELESS! (I am talking about the ones that just sit at the station, not the ones working with the patients) They were rude and dismissive and I had to have the phlebotomist come back with me MULTIPLE times so she could tell them how to do their job. Not only am I hormonal and pregnant, nauseous and toting around an impatient toddler I had to deal with these women talking to me like complete BRATS because I kept coming back trying to explain to them that I needed the kit for the test. FINALLY when the phlebotomist came back and ripped them a new one, they found the kit (in a cupboard right above their heads). They NEVER apologized to me for all the extra hassle and even the woman taking my blood suggested that I complain to their nursing supervisor. THEN today, I called to ask how long I should expect the results to take and whether my doctor would call when they came in or if I needed to call... And the woman on the phone goes "Oh those can take up to a month. But your doctor will call you" and I said "Oh wow! A month?? On the Panorama website it says 7-10 days?" And she responded "Yeah well I dont really track how long they take. They just take a while. Well call you." ???????? So basically, she has no idea, she just made up and answer and then when I asked about it, instead of taking the extra 2 mins of effort to ask someone she just says, oh well I dont keep track of that stuff. Her tone of voice could not have been less friendly or more annoyed. I was very impressed with the practice after meeting Dr. Lamoreaux but after dealing with these nurses I am seriously considering finding a new office. I have never seen such RUDE, hostile and unhelpful NURSES in my entire life!!

I loved Doctor Lamoreaux! He is wonderful, personable and is excellent with his patients. Unfortunately, I am changing doctors and offices because of the staff at Valley OB. The receptionist there in the office was a nightmare to work with. I understood Dr. Lamoreaux was difficult to get into because he is a popular doctor (because he is wonderful). She kept asking to schedule with another doctor and when I agreed for my next prenatal visit, I asked her if we could book further out so I dont run into this again. She replied that he is going out of town and she has the rest of his patients coming in later that night that will need to schedule. But I am his patient and standing right in front of you? Basically he has a full schedule. If he is full he should not be accepting new patients. Then I requested to have my Urine tested because I have a history of UTIs. The nurse was hesitant to let me have my urine sampled at 18 weeks along, but she agreed after a series of questions. 5 days later another nurse calls me and asks me another series of pointless questions such as, "Why did you have your urine tested?, Are you still having symptoms?, Are you taking anything for your UTI? (No one has called me to confirm I even have one, how would I have any medication to be taking?) After I answer her she says your lab came back and yes you have UTI. Why was I asked all these questions when you have my lab results? Then calls in a prescription that is category B while pregnant. I normally get category C while pregnant, so I got nervous that the nurse didnt read my chart and even know that I was pregnant. I had to google and ask the pharmacy if this was safe to take while pregnant. Needless to say I do not feel comfortable in the hands of Valley OB when I am having to google prescriptions they give me, fight with their receptionist about appointments, only to to see a wonderful doctor for less then 5 minutes every 4 weeks. These issues are only the recent ones I have dealt with. I wish he had better staff to work with. Im done at Valley OB and wont go back.

The nursing staff are great, but the obstetricians I met with get a flat 0/5 stars. Im pregnant with my first and needed a lot of information but my first appointment was less than 10 minutes. The doctor was literally rushing through the appointment to the point of talking so fast he had to stop and take breaths. I barely got a word in edgewise to ask a question, and I received no guidance on exercise, my weight, gaining weight, medications, what to watch for, covering of my medical history, nothing. I took a blood test, but wasnt explained why, what the test was for, or how to get my results. I had to call weeks later just to find out if the results were normal and only found out what I was tested for when I got the bill. They were sloppy, careless, inattentive, and rushed. I wouldnt tolerate their lack of care for my dogs doctor, let alone mine and my babys.

I had my first baby at the Provo office of Valley OBGYN and loved them. I met all the doctors at least once and felt very taken care of throughout my pregnancy. I moved to Lehi recently and have tried to switch to this practice. They are not like their Provo associates at all. Its impossible to get an appointment, especially for a working mom, and they are very impersonal. More than once I have felt like a number they just needed to "process." When I told them I was thinking of switching practices they didnt seem to care or try to keep me with them--in fact they just seemed annoyed I even brought it up at all, despite my being kind. I was never rude, just matter of fact. For something so personal, like preparing to have a child, and womens health in general, I would expect a more personal touch. Not impressed at all.

Good luck getting an appointment within 4 months. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment you will surely get a rushed dr that doesnt take the time to listen to your concerns. Dont waste your time here like I did. Its an expensive waste of time. I ended up going somewhere else after such frustrations. I want a dr that will listen and get me. These drs have too much on their plates. Cant manage 3 sites. Need to hire more drs. Just try calling, the receptionist is rude -I am sure its frustrating for her dealing with people wanting to see a dr and not able to. DONT GO, you wont be happy.

My wife went to Valley OB/GYN for our last child. While the staff at the Saratoga location were nice, we never received a bill from them. Then, 1 year later, we received a collections notice for $3000. We had to negotiate with the collections agency to avoid paying the attorney fees. Just recently, my wife called them about coming in for our next baby, but they refused to see her while we have an account in collections. Also, the nurses at the American Fork hospital were not very good. Were not respectful of mothers wishes.
