I see some negative reviews but the majority are from years ago. As far as recently goes I was quite happy. I was given a toy Chihuahua by a woman who I didnt know, but found her herself and couldnt keep her and asked if I could. I decided to take her in but had to find a home for her. I have found a home, but I told the woman that I wanted to get Zoe ( her new name ♡) fixed to ensure nobody could breed her and she will be healthy. So, not wanting to spend too much on a dog that isnt mind I found a low cost clinic and the price came out to 100. Before her appointment though I wanted to double check for a microchip on Zoe. So I brought her in Sundance and on the door there was a sign posted for free spay and neuter for March. They found no microchip and took a look at her to double check to see if she was fixed and of course she wasnt. They said they had some openings and asked if I wanted to go ahead and her spayed right away for absolutely free! So I said of course lol we went into another room and the veterinarian came in checked her out some more and said she had a baby tooth that was supposed to fall out but didnt and asked if we wanted to get it pulled for a 5 dollar fee and again I said of course. So after some paper work we left Zoe and waited for her to be ready to be picked up. She was ready in 3 hours and came out calm and wearing a baby onsie for extra protection lol! I explained to them how she was for another woman so they gave me a booklet to keep track of her shots and medical procedures and told me when I gave her up to call and have my name transfered to hers. The vet also let me know that whoever owned her previously didnt care for her properly, she is slightly undereight and her teeth her nasty. So for no charge she cleaned her teeth and let me tell you, what a difference! They also cut her nails! This isnt something I would expect every time but I think because its a free spay month we got some extras. I really liked how the vet explained everything to me as well, she put it in perspective . She said she isnt just get fixed, shes having a hysterectomy, and like a person having one, its serious. So overall I loved them. They really helped me out. I just cant afford doing all this extra care for a pup, especially since she isnt mine for very long, but they did the basics; spay, teeth cleaning and extraction, and nail trimming. All the stuff to make her comfortable and ready for her new home for 25 dollars total ( 19 for collar and 5 for tooth being pulled). I really thank everybody at Sundance very much, its important to me to give rescues the best start and I think we got it!

I know that this is a long post, but I am just so grateful the staff here that I when I found this page I had to say something. If I could give ten stars I would!! My Chihuahua/Yorkie mix became very ill due to a calcium deficiency five days after giving birth to six boys (one stillborn). I was 24 and had never hand raised a puppy let alone FIVE. The emergency vet I took my Chorkie to recommended Sundance (over the vet that sent me to them in the first place). Dr. McEachern did Margos fallow up, I explained the whole situation and in the following weeks if there was ever a question or concern (and I mean even late at night when they are open for emergency services) that I had with the puppies or Margo I only called Sundance. Im not sure I would have been able to save them if not for the team there. At seven weeks old I did loose one of the puppies; I live in Goodyear about 30-45 min. away from SD and in this emergency situation I choose to go to a vet down the street from me. At this point I had lived and breathed these puppies for nearly two months (they feed every hour, 24 hours a day) I dont know if you know what goes into hand raising dogs but when you are responsible for saving their lives, that creates a very strong bond and a lot of love. Needles to say I kept the other four boys (yes with six dogs I am a crazy dog lady, I have excepted this lets move on). They just celebrated their second birthday and I am not sure they would be here without the assistance of Dr. McEachern and the rest of the Staff at SD. They are the only place I will take my babies to.

The Vet does seem like she know what she is talking about. But thats just it she the Vet no one else. I dont like her assistant as he thinks he knows what hes doing. I have a pretty heavy dog and did not get assistance on getting him onto the table. And the front desk lady is the worse. I amy look young but im far from it and she treats me like that. One time I was waiting and another person came in who looked much older than me and she stopped what she was doing to help her. I was like hello ive been standing here and you clearly ignored me. I have heard her on the phone and she always seems to be a grumpy old lady. My opinion is if your old and wanted a job tough it up and do your job. She always seems annoyed. I live right by there and sometimes want to stop in to ask a question but I dont anymore just because of the front desk lady. They have a few waiting rooms but yet she does not think to utilize those for those that have already checked in. It would help because my dog does is not very social. What I have been in for the Vet did always cure or help that I didnt have to go back. But if your just looking for a good Vet and dont care about the unhelpful staff then your fine going here.

I must say theyre definitely top notch in care and results. Had a few minor issues with my pet and found them. luckily they caught everything before bills would rack up too much and were extremely reasonable with rates and being able to pay back costs -- cant say theyll be liberal with everyone on coming up with the funds but we were honest people and they understood and it was all resolved financially. They didnt over charge or have hidden costs and fees and let us come back to double check there was nothing else going on with our pet and the issue was completely cured. I do like the vets and vet techs/assistants that I have worked with very nice women, the front staff i liked the one of the two ive met. the younger one is very nice and personable and handles multitasking with a breeze -- on the other hand the old woman is f*^king annoying, I came to pick up my pet and it was the only one there and she said "Who is _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _?" and im like are Fn kidding me/ the only pet here!!! she seems bewildered and out of touch with reality...maybe they have a kennel in the back for her? i kid kid. great place, dont think twice take your pet there! ps. theyre open on Sundays! great stuff.
