Well how should I start! My daughter kept-ed hearing her dogs when let them outside after a few day she put the dog up and started to check around her shed and found a little female orange tabby (rare to have a female orange tabby) living under the shed. She start to feed it it and after one day the kitten came right up to her, it was about 11 months old. She told her mother, and we went over to check out the kitten, it was a friendly little girl, so we decided to take home and nurse but to health as she was thin from being out side living under a shed for who knows how long. After bring her home she started eating very well. She was such a little thing but very sweet start follow me all over house and play a little bit, and took a liken to me, so we made an appointment at this clinic. We went last Saturday and had some tests ran and her first set of Vaccination and Vet (Dr. Montana) said she is good to go, Well we get her home and I see discharge coming from her nose, I took her temp and she had a fever of 104.5, not a very good health check from a vet and she is holding her leg up and will not put and pressure on it, we thought it was from the shots, but after 5 day there is something wrong so we took her the emergency animal hospital and she had an upper rest infection and had x-ray done and found out that her left leg has been dislocated at the hip. We took to another vet and because it has none been so long with this dislocation they could not get it back and now she has to surgery to cut off the ball of the femur bone. So if anybody reading this run from this place as these XXXXXX xxxholes do care about animals!!!!!!!!! I am so mad I could punch that XXX XX X XXXXX in the face. Please not take your animals to this place if you love them!!!!!! Please stay way!!!!!!! How could anyone do this to a sweet little kitten. And If you read this Montana you are the poorest Vet I have met, 10 years ago I had an issue with you when over my 4 month old Dane that broke his toe and I could read the X-ray better then you could, you told me he had two broke toes and I said no only one, so I took him to another Vet and I was right, maybe you need to quit practicing. I was reluctant to come to your clinic but my wife talked me into it, I sure regret it, I now have injured kitten from your clinic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK all, i typically dont review places too much unless i really loved them or really hated them and obviously i loved this place. Before I start, quick tip for all you folks who need a little cheaper place for shots and teeth cleanings (or spay/neuter). Theres a spay neuter clinic on 75th ave and indian school which is super cheap because thats all they do. its first come first serve but we bring all my dogs yearly for annual (under anesthetic) teeth cleaning and they absolutely rock, much cheaper than normal vets. Now, onto the review. My family is a huge bassset family, we have a large network and very very rarely bring our dogs into the vets because we typically know what to do in certain situations. However, this week i ran across a problem with one of my dogs that i wasnt sure what the issue was so i brought him into this place to be sure. Turns out my assessment of allergies was correct and the benadryl we were adminstering was correct but the Dr. (montana i think) was great at explaining what was going on, why he seemed to have a more severe reaction than the others we have, and also other methods of treatment for his case. The receptionists were very nice, the waiting room and exam room were very nice, and the price for the actual visit plus medicine was very decent. Ive had a lot of experience with vets and have run a huge gammit of issues with many bassets in my life and this place was among the best ive been to. They also have short saturday hours too so thats great. Theyve earned a new customer, highly recommended!

This clinic is the worst!!! The whole visit was terrible. I walked in and wasnt even greeted by the receptionist (Patty), who was on the personal phone call might I add, which she was laughing and talking about Thanksgiving plans. When she finally got off the phone when 2 other people walked in, then she decided to help me. When I filled out the necessary paperwork she was no where in site, when she finally came back she took my paperwork and a assistant was up there waiting to take me in the room. The vet assistant was the only good thing about my visit. She was extremely nice and took the time to pet my dog and make my dog seem like he was important. When Dr. Montana finally came in, he was the rudest doctor EVER! He seemed like he had more important things to do and was extremely rude to his assistant as well. When I asked him questions, which I should of apparently knew, he made some rude comments to me. I told him that my friend used to be a assistant (at another hospital in another state) and she told me I should do a couple things before I brought my dog in (I was low on funds) and after I told him that he said" Well,I dont know, what does your friend think we should do" in a very condescending way. He gave some "injection" and said it that it would take care of the problem. When I went back out to check out, the SAME receptionist was on her own cell phone and when I looked down at it, she was on scrolling through her facebook time line!!!! I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!

We have come to this clinic for years because of its close proximity to our home, but after our experience this past week, we are seeking a new veterinarian . Dr. Montanas bedside manner is poor. He lacks empathy, and does not explain diagnosis well. Our senior dog was diagnosed with diabetes, he could not get it regulated within the week so he brought us in on Friday at closing time to tell us we just need to put our dog down, and his levels "well its just not good, you need to put him down." Did not go over his insulin levels during the week, kept being told everything would be explained on Friday, and it never was. He snapped at us when we tried to ask questions to better understand. It was like being a scolded child. Very rude and spoke in a very condescending voice to us. Maybe it was a bad week for him but there is no excuse. We were rushed to make a decision, and felt like the loss of our pet was an inconvenience to them because it was closing time on a Friday. I do not recommend for pet owners of animals with more serious health issues. Acceptable for routine visits maybe. His passion has dwindled over the years. I feel that if ultimately his diagnosis was euthanasia, we should have been contacted much sooner in the day, not at closing time so we could ask those hard questions and feel confident in our decision together.
