I will not be returning due to how Dr. Lorna treated my animal and I. I came in for my pet rat that was sick, ( yes a rat means nothing to some, but she meant alot to me) She was impatient, she didnt spend more then 5 mins in our room at a time before constantly leaving, with no explanation, she didnt bother to introduce herself to us upon entering. She explained nothing everytime she came in she just did something else to the rat and would leave, finally on her 3rd time in the room, I was able to ask her what was wrong and what was being given to my rat. She then explained. Also upon 1st visit she said the rat was in bad shape but was savable when I asked if she was to far gone. 2 1/2 hours into appointment , 1 shot for her lungs and some meds, she then has my rat on an oxygen mask Im holding to her face while they check in every so often, she comes to conclusion the rat should stay over night for best chance and stay on oxygen. I explained we are on a tight budget and if the rat needed oxygen at this point to live why are we keeping it over night etc, she walks out mid conversation says make a decision. .. unbelievable, we discussed it and came to orginal conclusion put the baby out of suffering to sleep. She was so far gone she died before 2nd injection to pass her. Dr. Lorna didnt even come back in to say sorry for your loss or anything. We instead were handed a 115 bill!! We were aware of the 47 office visit fee, but apparently each time she came in and did something to our rat without explaining or asking..we were being charged! What a sneaky way to make a paycheck at the expense of others being kept in the dark due to the doctor explaining nothing to her patients while tacking on debt. I will never return there and will let others know.

If it wasnt for Dr. Loran Lanman at PetsVet, my cat would have died. I attached pictures of before and after of my cat below. The side by side is the before and a little while after PetsVet placed the feeding tube and the other is of her several months later. She was on deaths door when I brought her to PetsVet. I first took my cat to SunValley Hope Animal Hospital in Glendale. Huge mistake! They told me my cat was very sick and had Hepatic Lipidosis. They sent me home with meds and not much directions on what else to do. A week later, I take her back and they tell me my cat is too sick and they cant give her a feeding tube. By then my cat went from meaty to very sick, thin and extremely lethargic. They sent me home with no hope. I remembered PetsVet Animal Hospital and how they helped me when my dog had a broken leg. They were amazing then and didnt fail me this time. They got us in right away, as soon as she saw my cat and how sick she was, she didnt hesitate one minute. They placed the feeding tube right away and she stayed over night. They gave me GREAT directions and better medicine to give her. I fed her by tube for a month. They gave me new feeding syringes when I needed them. My cat made a FULL recovery. She is doing AMAZING! If it wasnt for Dr. Lorna Lanman, my cat wouldnt be here. Its crazy how the wrong vet could kill your animal. The other vet was lazy and not proactive. PetsVet is proactive and SAVES LIVES! Dont make the first mistake I did by going to the wrong vet. I will never go to another vet. PetsVet is the only vet I will EVER trust with my animals. I am forever THANKFUL to Dr. Lorna Lanman. Its been several months now, I get to see my cat everyday and it brings me sooooo much happiness. Thank you PetsVet!

Unfortunately we had to have our 13yr old girl put to sleep. When we arrived, we spent 20-30 minutes with our girl after she received the sedative. When the "doctor" arrived to give her the final shot, everything was so bad. The "doctor" began telling us that it was our fault about the cancer and other health issues because we did not feed our dog the special food sold at the vet. After shaming us for about 5 minutes she administered the final shot and then began to poke holes into the abdomen of our girl with another syringe tip. Seriously, she just started poking about 4-7 holes inside of her during our girls final minutes. She did this because she wanted to prove a point, the point being that her cancer growing inside her stomach was filled with fluid. Who cares??? It was supposed to be the last sweet moments spent with our family hugging our little girl, but the "doctor" saw this as an opportunity to guilt us for not buying the special vet food, followed by sadistically stabbing holes into our girl for the sake of proving she was right about something. That "doctor" is a selfish cold crone who sacrificed the last precious moments of my family for her own ego.

I will never trust any other Dr. than Dr. Lanman and her office staff. They saved my dog twice from Valley Fever...Willie G was pretty much near death when he was a puppy and I carried him into her office. They were on top of it immediately. She saved him. Later on about two years later he started to have seizures really bad ones....she did the food allergy test with him...I was a skeptic also in the beginning...we usually are to things we dont understand, but with her recommendations and feeding him proper food without all the junk in it....he is seizure free. Since then we have added another canine to our family. I TRUST Dr. Lanman and her staff. They ARE there for the animals and they dont make the almighty $$ priority!! They work with you. I love her to death and would not go anywhere else...EVER....she truly cares for all animals and it shows! Thank God for Dr. Lanman!

Have used Dr. Lanham for years since she was a mobile vet. She is compassionate and an excellent vet with good common Dr. sense. Her costs are fair (including the dog food) which is priced the same as good dog food elsewhere.It may seem as though she focuses on allergies with everything, it eally is only a part of a diagnosis....and for my dogs ...she was right. Her holistic testing has been around and used by people doctors for years but may seem strange if you havent been exposed to it. I think she is the BEST vet and the only one I would allow to see my old dog that I got who was horribly abused for years before I got him when he was 10 yrs old. Didnt get 6 stars because I think the front staff is very considerate or caring.

I have used Dr. Lanman and PetsVet for over 15 years. She is one of the most caring vets Ive ever known. Recently, had a scare with one of my cats and she saw her on a Sunday. I think that quick visit rehydrating her and antibiotics, helped fight the virus and she is doing better now. Though no cure for this virus, we are managing to keep things at bay and shes again an active kitty. I also love the chiropractic treatments Dr. Lanman does as well. My oldest cat benefitted greatly from treatment and has not had any of the same issues she had been having. Saw another vet in the office recently and was very satisfied with her as well. Great veterinary care! I am happy to have found her, and you will be too.
