Ive been taking my two corgis exclusively to EAH for the last 12 years since they were puppies. My mothers italian greyhound was cared for during its final years here too. If you have corgis, they know the breed very well, as most of the staff and several doctors there either own or foster. My dogs enjoy their visits to the dog-tor and have never had any issue receiving proper care and treatment. Regarding emergency care, there may be limits on what they can perform, but the one time I had an emergency, they were able to address my problem (curious corgi ate caffeinated diet pills). There is a nearby emergency veterinarian hospital within 3 miles if required (McDowell/Rancho Santa Fe) for after hours needs or extreme animal trauma. I expect that I will continue to bring my animals here as long as possible.

We have been using Estrella Animal Hospital for the better part of 10 years. our next door neighbors referred us to them. That alone told me they were good since my neighbors have no children and they therefore treat their dogs as children and only give them the best. DR Joslin and the others are honest, professional, courteous, and understand that its not just a pet but a Family member they are treating. One of our 4 dogs had broken his leg, badly. DR Joslin started to recommend a K-9 ortho specialist. We told him no because we have full faith in him and the others there. That was about 3 years ago and you cannot tell that he had ever broken his leg. These folks are good and they error on the side of caution. I would trust them to treat me over some of the doctors I have had in the military.

Estrella Animal Hospital was our vet of choice while we lived in the Phoenix area. The staff were nice and personable and the facility was always clean and always managed. Even after moving to 30 minutes away, we still commuted to take our animals there. They performed a very difficult surgery on our 4 month old puppy who ate string and toy pieces which put him in a fatal position. A year later, he is still doing excellent and we appreciate them for every moment we still have with him. I never felt as if the doctors were trying to up-sell me and often offered me alternatives. I cannot put into words how much I recommend this vet.

First off if you have an emergency, look somewhere else; they will send you someone where else, they wont deal with emergencys. I have a dog with cancer who almost died because of their mis-diagnosis. I have a dog that had a stomach/intestinial blockage, they drew blood work and wanted to wait until the next day for results...if I would have waited my dog would be dead. I took him to an animal hospital off of Cave Creek and they brought him right back and performed emergency surgery, they were wonderful. Estrella is unprofessional, unskilled, and could care less about your pets. DONT TRUST THEM!

We are not customers and after stopping by there twice for two different reasons I wont ever go back for any reason. The lady at the front desk is rude. I actually went there by mistake and instead of nicely saying Im the only one that answers the phone and I dont remember speaking to you moments ago. What I got was no we dont do that here and I wouldnt tell anyone that we can work your pet in cause we dont do that but with a rude tone and snippy attitude when I was only trying to get my puppy seen about.

I have worked in vets offices and grew up around animals my whole life and I LOVE this office everyone is very friendly and Dr. Pastor is amazing she help my little corgi when I thought there was no hope left for him. Very understanding and helpful I will bring all my animals here to her from here on out even though there are 4 vets offices closer to my home this one is worth the drive!

Lets start with do some research and stay away from this place. People are very disrespectful. They are only concerned about over charging and taking advantage of the general public. They are not worried about anything but how much they can get out of you. You have been worned

Love, love, love them - wish I would have known about them years ago! They took great care of my dog when he needed surgery (at a fair price). You can tell they love animals, they dont just work there! They are officially our new vet!

I have been taking my cat there for 6 years & even boarded her a few times. Everyone there is friendly & they care about our pets. I am very comfortable with their ability & knowledge to take care of this special part of my family.
