I came into banfield because my dachshund suddenly started to breathe more rapidly and it didnt resolve. The veterinarian there told me that he was "just aging" and that his lung tissue was probably just changing. I took him home and about a week later, he could barely breathe and we had to rush him to the emergency hospital. I took him back to banfield and they concluded that he may have bronchitis. They prescribed him prednisone and two nights later we had to rush him back to the hospital again. The veterinarian at banfield informed me that I may have to see a specialist and that she could not do anything else for me. I am now seeing a new veterinarian who diagnosed him with pneumonia, possibly valley fever and has discovered a significant heart murmur. This isnt the first time that banfield has missed a serious condition. I had a technician look into his ears and tell me that he had a little bit of black stuff in one but it was no big deal. A few months later he had an extremely bad ear infection and had to see a specialist and go under anesthesia to have it fixed. I have paid thousands of dollars to OTHER veterinarians and specialists because banfield has been incompetent. DO NOT purchase a wellness plan from banfield. If you dog has any sort of serious condition, they will end up sending you elsewhere anyways. Absolutely useless and completely incompetent.

So I have the wellness plan for my doberman and I always use the river location, but i live closer to this Oracle location and I must say I feel like they must not want business or they are lazy because every time iv called o schedule my dog I always get the "Dr said to take him to ER"... first time It was because he was vomiting and the second time was for an ear infection. Both times I called River and they gladly scheduled me and neither times where emergency. Im happy the River location is very welcoming and always ready to help rather than push me and my dog away because If I had to just solely deal with Oracle I would be really pissed off about my wellness plan. Get it together Banfield on Oracle!!

Awful! They are just in it for the money. I took my puppy there because she was scratching herself to the point of self injury. The vet told me that she was allergic to grass, so she was prescribed a spray which only made her scratching worse! I was trying to get in some question with the vet but I was hoarded with a man trying to have me sign up for the wellness plan. Lexie was still scratching herself. I decided to take her to another vet and found out that she had mange! Never going to Banfield again.

Please do not take the wellness plan!! They will try to hook you up into the plan. They get commission from it !! They will say your pet needs more than what it really needs and they will say that if you do not get the plan will be too expensive and you will end up getting it to supposed save money. Be careful!! and visit other vet doctors before going there.

Staff is super polite and understands that in this economy you cant afford the care right away and have worked with me numerous times in order to afford my dogs care. Even for urgent matters they have always gotten me in quick and treated my jack russel mix awesome even though he hates strangers.

Horrible treatment of my dog I have a pitbull and before they even tried to touch my dog they insisted on muzzling my dog and surrounding him with four people to hold him down for a vaccine my dog was so scared and hates this place he runs the other way when he even gets near those people

Moved here with two small dogs over a year ago from San Diego. They are both now 14+ years old and are doing well minus a few problems as in humans who are their age. I, and my pups have been quite pleased with the service and caring provided with the knowledgeable vets.

I have read a lot of negative reviews regarding Banfied, but we have always had good experiences with the care of our cat "TJ". The customer service is good, the care is professional and not rushed, and team members all love animals which animals can sense in a minute.

Have been searching for the right quote for my doggys teeth cleaning, my prev office wanting over 400$! Gave Banfield a try and was way less! And Dr. Rice is awesome! He is very caring and explained the whole procedure to me. The staff was great too!
