I am a Registered Nurse. I got there at 0700 (opening time). 2 techs were present, 1 person was waiting. I stood in the line for 30 seconds, the African American woman greeted me (authentically) and smiled and told me shed be with me very soon. She helped the gentleman who was filling out his papers and then took my information. I was out of there by 7:25am. A wonderful experience, I will go there again. The Asian lady drew my blood (10 tubes). She forgot one and apologized that shed have to stick me again but she was so skilled...no big deal. She told me shed call my MD about letting me have results. I havent heard from them, but again, no big deal since I had such a good experience. It was a really complex lab draw and it was performed with kindness and professionalism. The only reason I even bother to mention the race of either worker is that at least one of the reviews really spoke disparagingly of one of Qwests lab techs. Maybe the writer had had a bad day. Sorry for that.

I went in this morning, a Saturday morning, at about 10 am. I called first to see if they were open, and they were... I have a pretty major needle phobia, so I told them that when I arrived. I was there for maybe 2 minutes before it was my turn. We went behind a closed of area (not much privacy, a downside), and I sat and had my blood drawn. The nurse was super nice and friendly and made sure I was doing ok the whole time. It was over before I knew it. I was pretty nauseous after, so she gave me water and had me sit for a few minutes, and then I was on my merry way. The one downside is that the area for drawing blood is just partitioned off from the waiting room. This probably isnt an issue for most people, but since I was worried Id freak out or start crying, I would have preferred a more private space. All in all, it was as excellent a visit to get blood drawn can be. Thanks

I chose this lab for its location. I tried at least 10 times to phone the lab to confirm the doctors order for a blood draw. No response. We decided to just go to the lab. There were about 15 people in the waiting room. The receptionist was incredibly rude. She told us not to sign in as there was a 45 minute wait. I told her we would sign in a return. She was curt and said "if you dont respond when your name is called, youll have to start over". Duh! When asked to see if the order was there, she huffed all the way to the fax machine, then said, "no, it isnt here", turned away and ignored us. I spoke to my doctor afterwards. He has been trying to call the lab unsuccessfully to confirm receipt of the order. It shouldnt be this hard.

The most terrible experience. After one month I have yet to receive my lab results. First they said my last name doesnt match, I had to have my doctor call in to fix that. Then they messed up my first name and said it does not match. Meanwhile they had no problem billing me and my insurance. I am still waiting for the results. The lady also did not return my insurance card. I dont know what these guys are doing! They cannot handle a simple name entry and return insurance cards. I will look for other providers next time.

To make a long story short: We were referred here by my daughters pediatrician to have lab work done. The receptionist tried to register us but had difficulty verifying our coverage through the computer. (Im wondering if she entered things wrong because our Dr and Childrens hospital did not have difficulty verifying our coverage). She had a mean attitude about not being able to verify the coverage and turned us away. We went to Childrens hospital for the labs instead and felt like we were in caring hands.

I like going here to get my lab results done. Ive been sick the last year, and was pretty much getting blood tests done every week over the summer. The lab technicians got to know me by name and by sight, and were great. They were very friendly, considerate and helpful. While I see its been given bad reviews by others, Ive never had a bad experience with the technicians. I do recommend that you make an appointment online. You will end up waiting a while.

Had to wait over 90 minutes... never had to do that before... service was horrible for everyone in the room... the actual needle stick was intentionally poor on the part of the flabotomist... she made it painful because I dared to question their lack of service when they had 4 people working in the office that day. No excuses for the dalays... Nicole is great but no longer at this location.

Amazingly rude technicians. Told them that I sometimes have an issue of getting light headed when I have my blood drawn. The tech got agaiated and I refused the service there. I dont want anyone with that kind of attitude and frustration sticking anything in me. Ill travel further to another location tomorrow.

Ive found them to be great! Sometimes they are swamped and some people are not patient. To the man who wanted them to say PLEASE, Grow up! To the people who mention race and then say its not important; then why did they feel the need to say that in the first place? I found a lot of the comments to be racist

I was in the door at 6:59 am. The woman warmly greeted me, took my blood while I felt no pain and made sure that I knew better to eat something right away. She was an Angel. I was back home on Sacramento and Allston at 7:19 am. "The Early Bird Gets the Worm", so-to-speak. Mark

I am not sure if this is the same Quest location, but if not it is right across the street. I had a horrible experience with the man drawing blood... "eddie" ... he was poking around for 5 min extremely painfully before he found a vein.
